  1. Is that a water based paint???..
  2. There's pictures on the hamb with that Deuce at car shows...
  3. Yeah, for years I thought there were 6 also.... May as well build the model.... I can't understand why Monogram never released a '66 GT-350 droptop even though they have the molds to do so...??
  4. I just recycled a bunch of Folgers coffee containers and still have a few more... I was thinking of making a metal basket with a screen on the bottom that will fit inside the coffee container.... That would be great for stripping paint or mold release off small parts...
  5. I should start on the Revell '69 ZL-1 kit and save the body for last till the new kit comes out... I plan on using the custom interior from the convertible kit.. I hope it fits without any mods...???
  6. Yeah, I did try to fit the front valence to the convertible body and I'm having issues with it.... Looks like I need to section it a bit and glue it back together.... It's probably the same with the fastback body....???
  7. How about a fake '65 Shelby Mustang GT-350R???? From what I read, the owner dumped some serious $$$ into this one with all nos Shelby parts... I think I can gather up all the parts from my Monogram kits to build a model replica of this one... Except for the wheels....?
  8. I have 2 of the roadster kits. One is from the first release and one of each from the new release.. Guess I'm going to have to check all 3.... Hope they're ok...
  9. No wonder why I quit building models in the mid '70s..? Sorry fellas... I'm pretty sure it had something to do with that style of box art.. And the decals.. Oh, and the disco music....??
  10. Awesome!....?
  11. Nice!....?
  12. There you go!!!!. I stocked up on a "few" of those when they were $10 bucks each from Miejers.... The blower setups are very cool for other Revell Chevy big block cars.... Nova, Camaro, Chevelles.... The possibilities are endless!... ??
  13. Me too... So many kits and so little time....?
  14. Beep Beep!.....????
  15. I have a '91 red hatchback with a 5.8L buried somewhere in the garage... ?
  16. Beautiful!....?
  17. That's right because some folks would load up the back with some heavy loads... The SS version did have a pair of heavy duty rear coil springs.. Probably from the Malibu or Chevelle station wagons...
  18. ....including the Revell '65 Impala SS with the 396 big block....
  19. I have one mounted on my Dremel drill press....? Here's what one looks like.... The head tilts 90° degrees for some side drilling... or milling with an 1/8 inch (.125") end mill... there are smaller end mills also..
  20. Revell should have done that with their '69 Dodge Daytona kit.... Oh, well...
  21. A plastic tub with a lid and a gallon of Castrol Super Clean to soak the parts in. That removes all the mold release oil off the parts...
  22. Sorry I goofed..? Ok, could this be it???... Guess not... I'm on a roll todey....?
