What is the best glue for glass/clear surfaces?
1hobby1 replied to AlbertS's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
I've had good luck with Mod Podge. Dries clear and cleanup is very easy if needed. -
All done and ready for the New Year. Here is my completed Revell 1930 Ford Model A Coupe. This was a fantastic kit, and a joy to assemble. I went with Tamiya TS-77 Flat Flesh for the exterior. I sprayed a mix of craft and Tamiya paints for the other kit parts. It is built mostly box stock with the addition of gofer racing spark plug wires, scratch built oil dip stick, and ignition. The exhaust in the kit did come with a split off the header which I removed to have the open header look. I drilled out holes in the visor in alternating sizes as well. Carpeting was added to the interior using embossing powder and black paint as adhesion. The rest of the kit is out of the box and built as the Highboy version. This kit went together with zero fitment issues and I highly recommend those who have the opportunity to build one, to do so. Some great spare parts also since it can be built two ways. I also learned after doing some research that this kit, came with a Buick Nailhead V8 and that my spark plug wire location and dip stick location was totally wrong. Luckily, it doesn’t actually have to drive anywhere… Live and learn! Thanks for checking this out, and on to the next!

After receiving the digital copy first, I can confirm my physical copy showed up here in CT today!
-
Is it typical to receive a digital copy before the physical copy arrives? It’s my first time subscribing. I’ve tried reaching out to the contact email and phone number and have had zero luck in someone responding.

Subscribed a while ago. Received a digital copy but subscribed for physical copies. Should I still expect a physical copy in the mail?

LIARS Model Car Club Show, November 11th, Freeport NY
1hobby1 replied to bobss396's topic in Contests and Shows
This was the first show I ever attended and drove a couple hours to get there. To me, totally worth it. I saw some great builds, had nice conversations, and there were plenty of vendors. Picked up a few unique kits and had a great time. Looking forward to next year. -
