  1. Back at her this weekend, got the red carpet done and finished the seats. Some glue clean up, a few furry edges and touch up black paint required, but the tub is pretty well leathered up now.
  2. She moves along fairly quickly, pretty simple build Waiting on weather to improve before spraying a 2K clear on the body.
  3. Small detour from building a 1/8 Ferrari, this Lambo. Will be fairly straight OOB I am going to go Splash Lava Orange with it, here are my inspirations
  4. Cheers guys Slight detour as I work on a Gallardo I'll be back!!
  5. Awesome work
  6. Black paint footwells and black leather visible corners with silver speaker covers I am waffling between red carpet and a boring tan one....probably go red Dash will get black spray paint as well
  7. Thanks Dann The car is far classier with the brown removed...black tan and red will look great
  8. Interesting, have not heard of this subscription style kit before. Looks pretty well made compared to a Pocher. Will follow along on your progress
  9. Got the interior tub out from the body with minimal damage. Had to cut the pins on the centre console as they been glued I painted areas black that needed it and the rest gets the leather treatment. All the console buttons and such will get re-made and I changed the shifter into an nice polished aluminium.
  10. Cheer Bob and thanks
  11. Modified the e-brake tonight Original: After: Plastic replaced by aluminum and then leather wrapped...it isn’t fully inserted so I can take it back out and do the rest.
  12. Ya it is a bit cheesy edging. Looks to be just glued on so I could cut it away. I will cross that bridge when I get there I am probably going to do a fabric ‘carpet’ depending on how the ultra suede stuff I have looks. Dont ever hesitate to add in your opinion or critique...it is most appreciated
  13. Cheers Bill It is really interesting working at this bigger scale...fun, as its easy to see; hard as you can see everything I F up!!! thanks for looking
  14. Thanks Dan, alway room for improvement, but getting the seams better and better as I go Not at all, fire away on opinion of floor mats .....those came with the kit so not my work My 17 yr old boy came into the Nerd Lab to see what I was up to last night and says....."uuuuh dad, did you make the mats with the horse on them?? they look a little sad" We shall see if I change them out. That is the danger of buying aftermarket stuff that you could make better yourself.
  15. Passenger door card dry fit
  16. What are those round things with a handle on the door cards??? Almost looks like you have to ROLL the window ups and down by HAND!!! Awesomely made BTW
  17. FANTASTIC!!! I think I am up to date on the craziness that is your model building now...I thought it was just the Pagani, but you have been a busy beaver indeed The interior tub looks superb man, just really great
  18. Cheers man, I am having fun jumping back into a leather hobby Trying to upgrade this beast into something more presentable. The body and paint are really good, just the toy-like interior and engine need some work. God it is big though, have not worked at this scale before
