  1. The problem with quick searches is you'll never find what you're looking for. From ebay for $17.50: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Revell-Authentic-Kit-1-24-Cadillac-Eldorado-Brougham-1244-Model-Kit-1996/183237837941?epid=1101612415&hash=item2aa9d38475:g:oygAAOSweoBbBIM9 Don't BMW about the $10.95 shipping. It's still cheaper than other sources. If yer slow, you blow, Chief.
  2. Doable; but, not impossible. It will take some work. Grinding out a cup and adding ball joints is required. Neither is difficult.
  3. You have the chance right now to snag the original. You'll hate yourself if you don't.
  4. Interesting article on the '57 Eldorado Brougham: THE HISTORY OF THE REVELL ’57 CADILLAC ELDORADO BROUGHAM MODEL KIT
  5. The original Renwal V-8 available on ebay. Priced at $129.99 with free shipping. Pretty good price and it's complete. Renwal The Visible V-8
  6. Ever wonder what Dad in the Renwal boxtop did after that gig was wrapped up?
  7. Another Cobra?!? Keep them coming , Ray. Michael Dudikoff and Wings Hauser were low rent versions of David Hasselhoff. If you were making a low budget action film and couldn't afford Hasselhoff, you dug into the bargain bin and pulled out one of the knock-offs.

  9. I'm I agreeing with you, Tom. I can't get used to a 4 Dr Charger. Something blasphemous about that.
  10. Ya gotta go at least once, Ron. If not for the amusements, hit the boardwalk and grab some brews at Ruby's, Place to Beach or Tom's Restaurant. Plus, there's a fireworks show every Friday night. Say, did you ever hang out at Malibu's in Lido Beach when WLIR used to do the Friday night parties?
  11. Sounds like my sister's ex-husband.
  12. For a NY'er, you got a low threshold for "weird".
  13. Why isn't intimidating goose gang activity addressed by law enforcement agencies? They're already involved in racketeering, extortion and taking control of the landscaping industry. That's O.K. Their days are numbered. They'll end up in the big house sooner or later and get what's coming to them.
  14. Accept no imitations.
  15. Get yerself one of these babies and say sayonara to annoying, belligerent fowl and say hello to a roasted goose dinner.
  16. The motto of the late, great Lone Star Cafe expresses my sentiment: Go for it, Daddy-O!
  17. Stupid knows no bounds.
  18. Ron, you know personal flamethrowers are legal in NYS. Roast goose dinner on the Fourth of July sounds good.
  19. Looks like it was targeted by geese on a bombing run.
  20. You're not going to get instant gratification from Blitz at this time. The company is assessing exactly how to restructure and utilize the RM assets within the new Revell.
  21. Firing a well aimed paper clip at their butts will get them to leave fast. Pick them off one goose at a time. No noise and it's hilarious to watch their reaction.
  22. Looks like a very detailed kit. I have the Hobby Boss M1070 HET. I'm debating between the HB or Meng C-HETs. If you, or anyone else is interested, you can download TMs, TBs, LOs for the M911 at LOGSA. I've used the 1070 manuals for reference and detailing.
  23. I saw that. Good thing that you assemble the kit yourself. I should have bought one when it was 3500 bucks 18 years ago.
  24. Yup, Ferrara's is great. there are still a number of real Italian place holding out in Little Italy. If you make your way back up here, Grotta Azzurra and Umberto's Clam House are two great joints and are located within a half block of each other on Mulberry and Broome Sts. If you make the journey over the Williamsburg Bridge, you have to stop at Bamonte's on Withers St., between Meeker and Union Avenues. It has a real, authentic atmosphere because the real wiseguys from the neighborhood frequent the place. Heck, you might even see 101 year old Columbo Family member and Greenpoint resident John "Sonny" Franzese enjoying a meal there. He was paroled last year and was the oldest inmate in the Federal Prisons System at the time.
