Grill design requests
stitchdup replied to Texas_3D_Customs's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Not a grille as such but a couple of vw accesories for the vw t1. a push bar and roof mounted spot light. I have a hasegawa van front i can send you and it would fit both it and the revell. -

Looking for thin metal bars

Do you have a machining shop close to you? the swarf from a lathe might get you what you need if you dont mind a little extra work. Theres a good chance they would just give you some. it will be sharp but no worse than using a coke can for interior panels -
To seal...or not to seal?

If your climate is fairly dry you should be ok i'd think. i clear over decals as the air is humid in spring and autumn here -

Very cool, I've had the same pic in my build ideas so its good to see it built. Great idea to make it a camper too -

yes i sure have and i liked 2 better as well, i kinda blame the first movie for the massive rise in heroin in scotland during the 90s. shallow grave is a pretty good movie too, i think its the same producer as trainspotting. and theres a film called venus peter that i was in as a kid but its garbage, lol. i think you'd like the movie i linked, the first half hourish is set up but then the funny starts but it has a lot of cursing throughout but that is just how we really speak north of edinburgh, what you see on telly is very sanitised

try iceman collections, he does a few 3d printed figures or there are resin japanese girls in some of the aoshima and hasegawa kits. theres also a pretty large range of figures by masterbox that has a bit of everything. -

I'd like to see the revell/dragon bmw e36 2 door rereleased. The 4 door is easy to find but the 3 door is near impossible and never under 100quid when you do find it -
theres another way that might work, mark where the lower floor lines up with the interior floor and remove that area. Then glue the interior flooor to the lower floor and you've just given it a slight channelling and kept the under floor detail. You might need to swap the tran area for fitting the engine but it should work and keep the interior panels and dash fitting
