  1. i'm thinking to try a 23 roadster on the 33 fenders and grille, it looks like it should fit and that honda engine needs a home
  2. I've got one very similar to this except mine has built in led lights. Mine was about £40 quid cheaper than this one is and it works well enough. I have emphysema and i can spray at it with out a mask but i have loads so I'm gonna use them, lol. My only regret with it is I should have bought the next size up as its a little small for my way of painting (i like to get as much done at one time rather than individually) https://www.amazon.co.uk/HaoSheng-NEW-Black-Model-Extraction/dp/B01E2OYRYO/ref=sr_1_22?keywords=paint+booth&qid=1661573309&sr=8-22
  3. there are 3d prints available. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/toyota-4runner-5-gen
  4. the box side for that set was in the box too. I'm glad they are complete as it was them i was most interested in. I didn't realise how much smaller the a is in 1/25 compared to the monogram kits. there didn't seem to be so much difference between the scales with the model t kits. is this model a maybe a touch undersized? it seems like the engines out of my other 1/25 kits would be a struggle to get under the hood even if i move the firewall back
  5. Do they accept donations? I can think of a few people that could keep up with a cow figuratively
  6. I call two letters (we can all guess, but i'm not sure are permitted) but in this case litteraly, lol
  7. avocados are another item traffiked by narcos due to massive profits
  8. Got a joblot of kits today and some of them were in a nike air jordans box. One of my friends saw my post on facebook and has offered me £75 quid for the empty shoebox. He's an avid nike jordans collector and already has the shoes, but this is a nicer box. The best bit is its paid more than half the cost of the kits. Never thought I'd sell an empty shoebox
  9. avocations are not fruit
  10. representations are made on your behalf by your lawyers
  11. Germany now has a trainline running purely on hydrogen. It has no back up diesel engine.
  12. some cool cars. I didn't realise radwood had a highend version, i only knew of the strange and quirky stuff like kei cars from japan and some of the strange special edition cars like levis pintos or canon golfs, or just basic 80s and 90s econo cars
  13. Took a chance on a job lot listed as incomplete on ebay and got it for a very good price including delivery across the pond. There were loads of pics and if other people had paid close attention I probably wouldn't have got it. It helped that many of the kits are molded in colour as i could see the boxes were just jumbled up and not sorted out. I think i came out pretty well with how many are just missing wheels and minor parts as i tend to customise everything. Theres a lot to see and some might end up for trade First up, peterbuilt truck, missing glass only so not a problem. strangely it appears someone shaved their beard into the box as it wasn't animal fur. they were grey haired with what we call the salt n pepper colour on this side of the pond. 34 ford convertible. appears complete model a delivery, appears complete but the front of the roof has been cut off. the part is there so an easy repair model t sedan, appears complete but i dont really need 2 squarebody stepside appears complete and there are some extra chassis which are always useful honda integra missing glass and chassis parts but good wheels and engine for something else, maybe the model a 1/16 lambo no interest to me and missing many parts tamiya jag, missing parts but i have a spares kit with the missing parts already dodge pick up appears complete. I'm sure I've seen a build thread for this one so have included an interior pic. anybody recognise it? trans am snapper appears complete, and corvette also appears complete. I've got an idea for a custom one so this was handy as i didn't have one jeep, appears complete and i like the original builder plan so will keep to that plan dodge charger missing glass dodge and plymouths, appear complete ramcharger, possibly missing hood but theres still a couple of boxes of loose parts to look through so fingers crossed chevy vans, should have enough part for 2 out of the 3 couple boxes to still sort, near complete tank no clue what this sprue is from, doesn't appear to fit anything i have
  14. fortitude is not a commonly used word in scotland, but if it was it would probably be a derelict ww2 army base related to the first special forces troops in the black isle area of the highlands
  15. sherman tanks were useful in ww2 but obsolete soon after
  16. slow and steady wins the race, is a flawed statement unless we are talking about snails and tortoises
  17. the blah blah blah happens when you use a curse word or banned word, its a word you used in your post/pm that the forum doesn't allow that gets changed automaticaly. I very much doubt the mods have time to check everybodies pm's given how many are sent on here each day
  18. wisdom is relative, the smartest person in a village of idiots will still be an idiot
  19. cool project. the closest i've seen to those skirt are a set for the 63 impala by pegasus. The only ones I've seen for the ford are the long cruiser style versions
  20. hmmn! they got the atm wrong, it was nothing to do with any bank, they were invented in dundee
  21. i wouldn't use the circle templates or gelly roll pens as the gelly pens can leave ugly ridges in the whitewall if you have to overlap. Theres a much easier way that gives a nice finish. All you need is a large washer with a hole the size you need for the whitewalls. Just place the washer over the tyre, taking care to centre it, then build up the colour using white acrylic primer. if you use a reasonably heavy washer it will stay in place for painting. I find heavy truck washers to be the best as the holes are about the right size and they have the weight to not blow away and since its being sprayed the finish will be smoother
  22. your best bet is to look at the kit on https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/ and have a look through the pics. They usually have pics of the contents of each kit
  23. the volvo looks completely outclassed in that group, or was clark griswald driving it? i bet they had the most fun though
  24. plymouth is a naval port in at least 2 countries but probably more if i could be bothered to look
