Cool, If you need another hood for the interior I have loads of spares, and most of the old revell bugs have the early style fuchs wheels

For front suspension I'd recomend motobitz mustang 2 types suspension sets, and they also do the best jag independant set I've seen(prob more 70s). I've got plenty of icemans engines and they are pretty nice but he also does pro touring frames for cars and trucks along with suspension parts. I think it could be an avenue for the model companies to explore though if they already have modern engines in other kits, sorta a modern take on the old 2 in 1 kits. For example theres a nice supercharged ls in the revent amt camaro (and they seem to pretty cheap on ebay) that I think is nicer than the one in revells corvette (it just looks undersized)

I'd try a pop up blocker, and run anti virus. I dont use an ad blocker but i do block pop ups and i dont get ads like those, just the small ones that look like threads

heller did a 403 and 203 in 1/43 scale. I'm not sure if it was done in other scales though but the 43 show up on ebay uk fairly often (theres at least one of each on now for roughly $20 each) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393246133133?hash=item5b8f4bcb8d:g:k1oAAOSw6tFgd1z2 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313513504228?hash=item48fedc6de4:g:zeEAAOSwy3RgjIzs

Funnily enough I disappeared down a rabbit hole this morning reading about big red, https://www.thedrive.com/news/37925/we-found-fords-incredible-turbine-powered-semi-truck-big-red-thats-been-lost-for-decades -
I dont know if it applies for the international orders but they usually include some of their tools free, my last order from them had 3 sets of pointed tweezers, and the one before it was a pair of sprue cutters. He has a web shop too but none there either. Its only really the buggy I want but they'll turn up again so its not a rush thing to me

Clear being flattened by paint gassing?
stitchdup replied to JollySipper's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Maybe give it week and try a little cutting compound on them, it might just be the clear going a little funny. I've had it turn white when used over black but it polished up decent -
Clear being flattened by paint gassing?
stitchdup replied to JollySipper's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Wheel paint isn't usually cleared with the same as the body. Its just not tough enough for the abuse wheels take. Does it say on the tin if it needs clear or what type to use -
What did you see on the road today?
stitchdup replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I saw one of the old honda insights with the covered rear wheels the other day. Funnily enough it was yellow too. Still not sure why so many ev/hybrids look like charicatures/kitchen appliances/toy cars though. Its like their trying to appeal to toddlers instead of adults -
Wow!! when you said what you were building I just assumed it was a trim change, not a complete rebuild. Nice work and I'm glad I could help cos I can learn something now

Nice job, I like how the 2 kits blend together without looking out of place. You nailed the proportions. I can see it as someone taking their grandfathers old home built car and giving it the modern rod treatment
