  1. pm me your addy and I'll stick it in the post. I probably have some shocks too
  2. That car was so close to being right imo. If all those hard 90 degree edges were rolled like the rest of the car it would flow much nicer. The way they did it just looks rushed
  3. What parts are ruined? I have a parts you can have with a good unused body and a few other bits. I think I have most of the parts but need the chassis and interior for another build. All the body parts will be spare
  4. Those will be pre orders Chuck, a lot of the japanese sellers seem to take pre orders months in advance. I waited near 6 months for my beemax audi quattro from a japanese seller but i had it 3 months before they made it to the uk shops, so I expect it would be the same for you guys in the usa
  5. You can find it at skateboard shops in the uk, make sure to ask for the black version as it comes in clear also
  6. Theres a lot of stuff from fishing that can be used on models. Especially from the specialist fly fishing shops that cater to the guys that build custom flies.
  7. bitchin rides (kindigit design) are pretty good, texas metal are pretty good too, car sos, car kings, full custom garage, monster garage, mobsteel, rad rides, wrenched, rusted development, speed is the new black, diesel brothers, for the love of cars
  8. Theres a seller on ebay called nazrac that offers a number of engines in most scales. They might have what your looking for
  9. Have a look on some of the honda tuner sites, if its a common problem someone will have a cheaper fix for the compressor
  10. Scenes unlimited do the dually parts for this kit. They are very nicely cast
  11. Cool, one of the best cars to come out of boyds imo. I've got a magazine feature somewhere on the original version if the pics are any help?
  12. I'm purely guessing but maybe theres been some sort of deal between amt and italeri for distribution. The recent amt vw golf mk1 was the an esci/italeri tool which is my only reason for the guess
  13. They're comparable to older tool amt kits. The interiors are usually shallow but you cant really see that when they are built. They do kits nobody else does would seem to be their biggest appeal to me moreso than how they build. Dont expect tamiya and you'll be happy
  14. 1664bhp and it runs low 7s. theres a feature on it here
  15. First up we have Mike Burroughs from stanceworks bmw engined hotrod followed by some random pics
  16. You should be able to thin it with acrylic thinners as its just thick automotive acrylic usually which is why they use it on nails. I use duplicolour primers a or tamiya. I find tamiya thinners good most of the time but a couple have gone gummy
  17. I'm just excited to get one. These were the cars my age group aspired to in school and while its a race car i'm sure one of the european aftermarket will bring out a stock interior like has happened with the bmw rally car and the escort. The engine bay is already available from uscp in their cosworth engine set as the escort cosworth was more sierra than escort. From memory the only difference was the escort had a little shorter bay but otherwise nothing really changed. I think these will sell very well in the uk simply due to the fact ford is the largest part of the 1/1 aftermarket. If you look at the prices of the esci ford kits before italeri rereleased they regularly went for over a hundred pounds, and 75 to 80 for a built up. The monogram and amt capri kits are heading the same way now with prices creeping up to 60 or 70 usually and any tamiya sierra is north of 90. I'm taking that as a good omen for this kit and i look forward to seeing what they do next
  18. white pepper will stop the dogs doing their business mate, just scatter it over the yard and the dogs wont want to go
  19. could it have been blocked off for the promos?
  20. The tamiya rattle cans are pretty good. They flow nicely and are very forgiving in how they work. I like them and as long as your prep is good you shouldn't have any problems
  21. I've struggled to find a magnifier that works for me. I have tried the freestanding ones but after a few minutes my eyes hurt from the warped views they give. Do these magnify the entire area you are looking at or are they the same?
  22. Cool, I'll be doing an order from them next month anyway
  23. Nice work Tom, this kit builds up really well and I think its one of the best bug kits
  24. Turns out i bought the wrong kit, I was sure i ordered the k3 but after checking its the k2. Ah well, just an excuse to get the right one
