The race version has a wonderful rendition of the Cosworth V8, worth looking for. There are 2 versions though, a full detail and a curb side so be aware.

Wow, looks awesome! I've the Fujimi full detail race car version. You are right, a full detail of the street car would have been awesome. But your curb side looks awesome.
The tub or chassis is straight as an arrow which is good. So I'll use that as a straightener but in the future I will check before hand. I prefer the body slip on with minimal effort. Man this scale building is tough!
Hi, As I'm finishing up my current project going through final body/chassis alignment and am having a bit of a time making things fit. Well I come to finally notice that by body is a bit warped. The front right quarter panel rises up about 1mm almost as if it was twisted so. How would you all fix this?
Hi, I just saw there Beretta Pro Street posted. The engine looks gnalrzzzz. Original release of this kit seem to go for +$100 on eBay. The kit looks cool; http://www.revell.com/model-kits/cars/85-7168.html#.V_PBK9waeOc I found kit instructions of the original release here; http://public.fotki.com/bill-rules/instruction-sheets/revell/revell-7168-beretta/?view=roll
The post Bill linked, while awesome, mentioned using Milliput as a mold. Since Milliput hardens and is a 1 time shot sort of thing, I've decided to use Silly Putty. I'll report back with results.
Hi Mark, You bring up good points. A few things I've done on my Chaparral CanAm car that is still on the bench in chronological order; 1) Built up fenders with Bondo Spot Putty. 2) Too much Bondo started eating styrene plus the Bondo started to crack. 3) Used super glue to re enforce styrene and stop the melt. 4) Started doing thinner layers of Bondo to build up fenders. 5) Top coat of Tamiya Putty as it sanded smoother then Bondo. * I noticed that the Tamiya Putty was much friendlier on styrene then Bondo. The pics of my Chap CanAm Spyder are on this forum some where. I built up its fenders by about a 1/4" on each panel. That's a lot of filler.
Hi, While very experienced builders have responded, I'm sorta surprised that as a simple small filler, Tamiya white putty wasn't mentioned. I also use the Bondo Spot Putty, the Tamiya stuff sands better/smoother. It is very very cool stuff.
I think this would be an awesome opportunity for a resin caster to do a detail parts kit for it. That would be pretty darn cool seeing that the Vette will always be a good seller in model kit form. Its more of a life style/pop icon/rock star than it is a car anyways.
