  1. I'm curious as to how thick my Evergreen sheets should be? It feels as though the .005" I've got is a bit too thin? Perhaps .010?
  2. This guy is incredible. I've seen his builds on YouBoobs, amazing!
  3. Wow, this looks REALLY REALLY GOOD! I have this kit as well as the HRM corrective parts, but its wayyyy down my calendar.
  4. Hi Andrew, Curious how long you wait between coats to say do a light wet/damp sanding with 8,000-12,000 grit?
  5. As always, thanks Mr. Bill Stoked, getting my heat gun at Home Depot next week. David, I worry that I might put fine scratches in the plastic as it will be the front windshield and a highly visible part if the model. I'll try it on a test piece.
  6. Hi, The front windshield kit glass in my 05' Ford GT is too thick and cracked. I would love to make my own glass as it would look better. I've these .005" thick sheets of Evergreen clear styrene. While doing a few mock ups, I've discovered that it would be a whole lot better if I could create a curve to it. What's the best way to achieve this? I'm a bit afraid of using hot water as it may warp the thin delicate plastic. Thanks in advance.
  7. There is a PE set you can buy for it ~$15USD. No pics that I could find but it's ordered as well. A cool little doc on NetFlix; Apex. Mr. Pagani is on there talking about his design approach etc... While the doc covers hyper cars, it seems to focus on Koenigsegg.
  8. WOW, I placed an order weeks ago. Über stokage!
  9. Wow, such awesome replies and info! I'm very grateful for this forum and all its members. Priceless!
  10. Hi, Curious of any one has an inexpensive source for engines that look similar to those found in Monograms; Horn Toad Rattler Rad Baron These engines looks amazing! The first two kits are totally beyond my wallet as I've seen em go for the $100 -$500. The third is affordable but still, at >$40 it's a bit much A pic for ref; http://www.showrods.com/gallery_pages/horn_toad1.html
  11. .4mm aye? Well my el cheapo Point Zero for $20 only has .2, .3 and .5. It seems to work fine but I suspect won't last long. I'll keep messing with it and perhaps next year get one of those Harder & Steenbeck Infinity.
  12. These are both A+ suggestions. Every warez seems to run there course so at least for now, these are great!
  13. Wow, gorgeous paint job! BTW how does the Duplicolor clear can look as they have a few it seems?
  14. My experience thus far is that they are smooth like butter. But they spray best out of a .5mm needle and 20PSI. When using a .3mm needle I need to go 25PSI. Is this your experience as well?
  15. Thanks Andrew, I much appreciate the feedback.
  16. This is pure genius and should be copyrighted.
  17. Welp, I totally understand. Total bummer to loose hard earned bucks. A few excellent casters I have dealt with and have always delivered and communicated with me in a timely manner are; Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland, Norm. Historic Racing Miniatures, Harold. Two Cats Models, Paulo. FPPM - Fernando Pinto Portugal Models, Fernando. I'm sure there are others but this is my personal experience. These ppl are top line, AAA etc...
  18. The color looks awesome, love it. Kind of a light rosy gold of sorts.
  19. Wow, this is soooo very coooool!

  21. A shaweeeeet!
  22. Wow, über clean and the paint is spectacular! What kid of gloss coat did you use?
  23. ... simply amazing vehicles on this site with a few dragons thrown in for good measure; http://www.showrods.com/gallery_pages/rattler1.html Wow, just wow!!! I looked at all of em, wow!!!
  24. First of all this is a very uncool thing to post especially since its malarkey. Send an email to the site admin instead or post if any one is noticing anything strange. I ran a few free site scans and they didn't find anything. Not to mention Norton not lighting up when I visit from a Windows box.
  25. He's just released it and is already back ordered.
