  1. Thansk Snake45, much appreciated.
  2. Hi, Hss any one adopted one of these units to duplicate 1/24 car bodies? Seems like the plate is perhaps 1/2 the size?
  3. Forgot, some chassis shots. Slight orange peel but I didn't mind much as it wll be obscured by wheels etc...
  4. Wow, cool thanks Monsigor Ace, stoked you like it.
  5. I was just about done when I warped the front quarter panel/hood. Just about everything else is painted but I had to strip the body which was turning out a very cool yellow. I ran out of RTV silicone to cast the front quarter so this is on hold for a bit.
  6. While I'm struggling with finishing my Dino 206 as I ran out of silicone to cast the front quater panel, I decided to work on the Chap. What follows is several and I mean several hours of wet/dry sanding several thin layers of Tamiya Putty as a base followed by several thin layers of Bondo Spot Putty. I used Perfect Plastic Putty as a filler due to its water base being non destructive to plastic. It sands like a$$ FYI so best to apply with wet fingers. It's still very begining stage but I like the progress. The body is where I like it. I'll prolly d engine work this weekend.
  7. I just caught up with this. It's as though your building a real car. Your craft is top notch!
  8. Well, hoping they used the same mold. Once recieved, I'll post a quick comparison between it and the marvelous Fujimi kit. I highly recomend it BTW, fabulous kit. You Model Building Jedis would really enjoy it!
  9. Wow cool. I just snagged a partial build for $7 so that I can graft the front right quater panel/hood off it in rescueing my Fuji kit. It melted due to my stupidity, I've a workbench thread about it.
  10. Hi all, Curious if any one knows wether the body molds for the 1/24 Entex Dino 206 are the same as the Fujimi? It seems like the manufacturers simply re-pop one another.
  11. Wow, great vacation man! I could amost feel the vacation vibe through the photos, very very cool!
  12. Yes Gran Torino was very well done. My wife and I went to a screening of it back when I was a member of VES. Saw it on Christmas Day way back when. Simply a very very good movie.
  13. I love it! The artistic direction is fantastic.
  14. I've put a stop to my buying or else I would have snagged em.
  15. Wow man, totally cool! As for pic skillz, a new smart phone would solve your issues. And maybe magic hour lighting.
  16. Well, the rivet counting thread has the resident Yodas participating so its another opportunity to learn which I'm liking. So again, nothing irked me today
  17. Absolutely nothing.
  18. Hi, As Monsignor Ace said, 2 part, or get the Tamiya Epoxy Putty which is also 2 part. The 1 part stuff like Bondo Spot/Glaze or Tamiya White are solvent based and will melt your plastic as what happened to me. I am, after 2 weeks, still sanding/repairing but making good progress. Avoid my nightmare and use 2 part whatever.
  19. Wow!
  20. Wow! Your forum nickname does you justice. Man that is soo cool.
  21. Cold deal, thanks man.
  22. My favorite and worthy of folklore.
  23. I'd have to say that from a design perspective its brilliant. Not my fav but brilliant.
  24. Ah, cool info afx, thanks for that. Hey Snake45, would you mind posting pics of your MiniExotics kit? I may be interested in it if you don't mind.
  25. Wow, even better! Come on man, come out with a transkit and sell it plz
