  1. I'm no expert but I got the HD kit and I had a look now. The engine in the kit does not have a supercharger on it.
  2. Interesting, I never knew about this so I googled abit and found this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_Idaho My 65 Dodge D100 was sold new in St. Anthony, Idaho and that belongs to Fremont County so that would have had a licence plate starting with 2F and as Chris states they should be green with white letters (if the wikipedia is correct that it is)
  3. Cool picture collection. I wonder what is the story behind them. Are all of them from the US? I see a Citroen Traction in the collection aswell but since one can't see the licence plate it is difficult to tell where the picture is taken.
  4. I learned of this strange kit last year after someone posted it here on these forums: A 1928 Praga AN made by MAC in 1:24, metal cab, chassis, wheels and plastic bed and interior bits. And how about the great looking Bedford O-series trucks made by Emhar. Comes in 4 different versions, as you can see in the lower right corner on the picture. Two LWB and two SWB versions. The partsfit is so good that it is almost a snap kit!! Italeri (also released by Revell AG) has a great Opel Blitz: Here you can see two different versions, one Revell and one Italeri. There is several other releases of this kit aswell with different boxarts. Revell made a great Krupp Titan: And a Büssing: And lets not forget Monograms old Bulldog Mack There is probably loads more that I don't know about or remember.
  5. Yes, I was hoping that maybe there is a engine block, oil pan, heads, rockercovers and intake in some existing kit that look similar enough to be used to modify into looking like the engine in my truck. I think I will have to start by taking a closer look at my own engine and taking measurments and pictures and start to hunt around in the kits that I got. Learing cad drawing and buying a 3d printer would be cool but that will sure take a lot of time before I get any good results.
  6. Bring it on!! Please can we have more farm equipment (and also other machines like excavators, bulldozers and such).
  7. Cool, thanks for the tip. I like the Lanz tractor you also posted. Will have too look them up and get my hands on this stuff now.
  8. Same here, really cool with another tractor kit. I don't know much about Porsche tractors but I have seen some of them in real life and they are not very big. Could be a great load on a trailer or a cool addition to a diorama.
  9. Thanks for the info So the question remains. How can I assemble an "A" series poly 318 in 1:25 scale? Is there a block, heads, rockercovers, intake, exhaust in some kits out there that will resemble the 1:1 engine in my truck? I have noticed that I have ver few Mopar kits in my collection, I think I should start buying some more. Infact, a quick look around gives me this list of Mopar kits that I got: *AMT Sheriff Roscos police car (78 Plymouth Fury?) *AMT 71 Duster 340 *Moebius 55 Chrysler 300 *MPC 75 Dodge Dart *Monogram 70 Roadrunner *Johan 68 Plymouth Fury police car *MPC Dodge D50 (Mitsubishi L200) *Revell Dodge Ram *AMT Dodge Ram snap *MPC Dodge Daytona *Modelhaus 65 Dodge D100 Out of over 500 unbuilt kits I got just 11 Mopar kits.... Just for the numbersgame I got about 50 or so Chevys and about the same in Fords.
  10. Great looking build, I really love the work you have done on this
  11. Ok, no 318 Poly in kit form as such but is it possible to assemble an engine or atleast most of one from parts from other kits? If so, what parts and kits?
  12. Thank you for the comments guys. I really should get back to this one but I have so many other projects that need my attention aswell (and most of them are not models...)
  13. Thank you all for the comments. Pat, a friend of mine suggested I should try clearing the decals so I think I will do that and use them on a Revell kit sometime in the future.
  14. Yes, in to different versions. One "rally" version with Barrock wheels and a hideous looking front spoiler and one stock with the hubcaps and all stock. The stock one is silver (also molded in silver) and the rally version is white. The stock one has kit number 2102 and is dated 1976.
  15. Great looking build Chuck
  16. I did build this 1:20 Revell Snap Ford Econoline "Dallas Cowboys Chearleaders van" some years ago. Not sure how rare it is but it was the harder one to find of the series of different versions of this kit on Ebay. And this Bandai 1:20 VW 1303 is probably not the most common of kits either:
  17. Thank you Thank you, the decalsheet have stripes for both Revell and Hasegawa kit and I think that maybe a light spray with clear will maybe make the useable. So I will have to get a Revell VW panel van and try on that kit later. Thank you, so you noticed the wheels. They come from the Polar Lights snap kit (Spiderman beetle) and I think they look much better than the beetle wheels that Hasegawa put in the box
  18. For the first time in nearly two years, I have completed a model. This is Hasegawas 67 VW type 2 panel van painted in original VW paint Light Grey (code L345). Decals from the AMT 40 Ford panel delivery "Three Stooges" kit is a "plan B" thing after the decals that I had planned to use disintegrated when I tried to apply them. It was supposed to have aftermarket decals that depicted a catering van from the Copenhagen Zoo. Anyway, all that remains is a pair of licenceplates and some wash in the door openings. I may add that in the not to distant future.
  19. Just because it is that time of year again:
  20. Some years ago I built the AMT Dodge D50 in to a stock looking Mitsubishi L200 (the D50 is a Mitsubishi for those that don't know) with a scratchbuilt trailer behind it.
  21. If you can get your hands on a older issue, you will have fewer problems getting it together. I have built two of them (the C600 stake bed from ca 2004 and the C900 tractor from ca 2009) and had some fit issues here and there. As Dave says, test fit a lot. I also have an older isse of the C600 city delivery truck with NAPA livery on the box and that looks crisper and may have better partsfit.
  22. Ah, I remember the other thread from way back then. I loved it and even had a crack at it myself using GIMP to try and restyle the backend of a Suzuki Baleno. I wish I could remember how to do such things but I have forgotten. The Nissan Puke is so ugly that only dynamite can make it better. I do like the redesign of the Saab Sonnet above, much more GT-car look.
  23. Straight reissue of the old Esci kit except for the decalsheet. I have ordered one and I will build it but not straight out of the box. You are correct on the wrong fonts for the reg plates. The Norwegian ones (YA18913) was actually on a 1979 Opel Kadett
  24. Cool. I already have a similar idea but I'm thinking of making a bucket-lift.
