Chevy II

After some 30 years I have finally finished one of my kits. Have about a dozen in various stages of competition, but for one reason or another, not done. This is the Revell 32 Ford 5 window coupe. Build is box stock except the wheels & tires are from the Monogram ‘40 Ford convertible. Air brushed with Testers gloss black decanted from rattle can.

Nice chop job. Really like the wheels. Did you lengthen the frame because of the first engine you were going to install?

What wire are you wrapping the coil overs with?

Love AMC.. In my younger days I crewed on a '69 Hurst AMX..

I have the '52 & '53 Hudson Moebius kits. They look to be very detailed. I like how you did the body script. How close did you trim the foil before painting over it?

Did you wrap the rear coil overs with the same Jonard Tools 30AWG wire you show on page 2? Without the outer cover?

Interested in seeing this come together. I really like PlowBoys and the red 37 picture with the hood sides. Are you planning to section any of the box or leave it stock? I'm also interested to see how you do the top chop.

Like where you're going with this build. Your builds are always so great. I love these 1st Gen Chevy II's. I have a real 62. Can't wait till my copy of this kit gets here.
