  1. I know, I know. It's the same way in Germany / ebay.de. But better are the sellers, who didn't sell a model kit for e.g. 80 Euros an relist it for 85 Euros (it's the Volvo Australian Truck by Revell) In my point of view, there are a lot of guys out there, who are watching the same model kit again and again to hope, it'll be cheaper and buy it then - or only to watch, what's it worth. Especially in the category of model kits. On the other hand I noticed, that some days the auction starts at one Euro (after a couple of "didn't sell" rounds on ebay), the price mostly easily reaches the price of the wanted "buy it now" price. That's ridiculous....
  2. This is what I thought too
  3. Great affords! Like the rabbit - the exhaust is pretty good made! The International Scout has an awesome good effect! Looks really good. My Mini goes on the finish line: exhaust is done, interior is fitted, body painted and has the glasses/windows. Only the engine and the axles to do. Thinking that the axles are the main problem
  4. The last picture of the boxes made me think, that you were at my home and took them out of my shelf - funny ..but: I sold them.... I built the "Dick Tracy" years ago and a couple years ago I restored it. But not original. Convertible and kind a Hot Rod (Pontiacs TPI engine...) When I look at your model kits, I'm in the mood to try another to build. I never liked the separated top of the coupe. It never fitted good to the body. So there you did an awesome job! Love them I like the coupe and the convertible in the same colors. Beautiful. Not that I don't like the black one - no. All three are really beauties. Awesome! If I may...
  5. This is really good work! Couldn't believe that this is built by your self if I won't see it here. Looks like from factory built.
  6. I'm looking over your shoulder Is the front bench installed already? Maybe you can take a little attention to the gap of the two parts. Some glue between them, let it dry and paint it over could help here it you don't want to fill and sand it
  7. Beautiful ! Simply beautiful
  8. This is really cool. Awesome idea!
  9. It's April. I put no hand on it during eastern and my Mini is still in the race. New pictures coming soon EDIT.... Added some pictures... The body is still painted, the window frames done and glasses glued in Then I cut one (!) hour to fit the Honda exhaust to the short Mini chassis Next: finish the interior, put the body and chassis together and start with putting the engine into it's place. It's to less space to put all the stuff together and get it married as a last step. So I have to work in the engine compartment
  10. I have the same thought: is it a decent two tone? I think the roof is a little lighter than the rest of the body. The wheels are nice and the lowering is perfect. Looks pretty good! The color is quite nice for the sweet Ford - and the golden-black brother looks interesting too. Do you have the other one posted anywhere?
  11. Like during the built: it came out very good. The tail lights came out really good! It's a clean built. Looking forward to see it polished !
  12. ...and I say, that black is ok. My Firebird has them black too. Door handles and locks. EDIT: looked for the link to the gallery http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=100424#entry1394243
  13. Great statement, Ken, really grown up... Have a nice day.
  14. But why don't you show more Pictures? Only one is not enough to rate anything or to awake my interesst.....
  15. There you have a bunch of cool projects on the start. Like the lights of the 58 Impala and the skull. My favorite is the 58 Impala. The others are pretty cool too
  16. This is a cool car. Looks like a 4 door. Cool. You did a good job with the detailing.
  17. Never noticed, that the Tamiya kit has no T-roof. Have to overthink my idea Your Nissan looks great and I like the color. When I remember, what issues you had with the painting.... It turned out fine at the end!
  18. My favorite part on the car: the rims. They looking just great! The rest of the car is pretty good too for sure
  19. You know, what I'm thinking about it: beautiful. In my point of view it's the best to let the rear deck spoiler in the box. Mine wouldn't get it either. Someday. Very clean. Did anyone notice the partly white rims ?
  20. Bill. I have the Cadillac you've posted in post #1 in my shelf. Mine is still unbuild because of the "more-parts-body".
  21. When it's this high detailed, I'd like to see a lot of more pictures.
  22. Nice one! Clean built and very good pictures for it. Super!
  23. This is classic Just a couple of packages in the back and off it goes.
  24. Excellent washing and the old look is awesome! The rust, the running boards and so on. Really great!
