  1. This is an interesting model kit. Did forget that it even exists. Well done!
  2. Pretty cool idea and work so far! Awesome.
  3. Thank you It looks good near by the stock Mini. And yes, I wanted to interpret Bean's Mini (doesn't care about the right model / year). He is awesome and the Mini as well. On detail is on it: Mr. Beans theft protection Only the license plates to add.
  4. It sits good! Nice processes here on the cars! I have to announce, that my Mini is done The engine compartment isn't details this much. I cleaned it up. Ignition wires aren't visible on the Honda engine and so I didn't put in any cables except the throttle cable. Here some other pics. One tiny detail is missing on the pictures as well as the license plates. I will show it later
  5. Great work here! That truck is super The others are great to and getting me to the point, to try another flamejob *thumb up*
  6. I just read the whole WIP. Your work is amazing. What I like best: the trim around the windows. This looks so realistic! Overall it's a very nice model. At the end I'd like to see a picture of the model with it's original Camaro. This would be cool
  7. @Mike ... It's ok. Life is outside the digital world Thank you for your respond! I'll have an eye on it and will tell it to the new provider.
  8. The small tires / wheels of the BMW i8 are exactly what they are in real. Because of that the i8 is a hybrid it has narrow wheels. I got my i8 last week and I totally can recommend the kit. The details and parts are awesome! It has 131 parts! Never had a stock car (without any extras) with this amount of parts. The Porsche 918 Spyder is scheduled in Germany on 1st of July.
  9. Looks perfect
  10. Thank you... Stupid, I am Why I haven't the idea to cut a window by my self? Will do that
  11. If my Mini had wheels on it's tiny axles, he would turning circles & burning rubber while it's in the wait loop But it is still on the start to get finished
  12. So beautiful
  13. Wow! I know, it's a couple of years ago, that this model was presented. but I got the Tamiya Jaguar as a present and so I'm looking for some ideas as inspiration. This kit is awesome. The opening doors are great and the lights! Awesome! Love it.
  14. Mike, did you try other threads of Dominik (e.g his Impala http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=102188)? Is it everywhere in his topics? So it could be that there is an issue with the spam filter. Our webspace provider has changed and I don't know, whether he changed to a server or just took it over from the old provider (this is what they told us), which is maybe unsafe for your systems?
  15. It's no secret, that Dominik and I are brothers. So I can't remember, how often he wrote through WhatsApp, because of all the issues with the paint, the foil and so on. At the end, it turned out so good, that I look like a beginner with my model kits. Not even he is my brother but in my point of view it is perfect. The comments here proof it to me too. I love the car and all the details (e.g. window rubber and trim). Excellent.
  16. Another on my ToDo-List. Always wanted to build a VW Hot Rod. Pretty well done! The color is so cool. Not a bling bling paint or metallic. This is especially an eye catcher! Great! Does it base on the Tamiya kit?
  17. My only flame job I've ever made. It was a try. Wrong material to cover the base painting and so on. Never did another....
  18. Nothing more to write: excellent rust!
  19. Awesome! Never thought, it'll be new again My Vette Van sorry for the dust. Made the pictures 6 years ago - now it's without dust but no current pictures Now I see (thank you for the link!) that my Vette does missing the rear glass. I always thought, that it has none
  20. Sure But "only" the old AMT kit of Part #2 Dude, I was half that old when I built this thing....
  21. That's strange! I think, I'd took the engine and placed it a little more backwards and better worked at the floor and stuff of the interior. But: when you are done, it'll look like an original and it probably could be hard to notice, that the front of the car is a little longer than stock.
  22. No way ! It looks like alclad! I have to keep this in mind. It came out very very good. Never thought, that this could have been done with chrome spray. Thank you for this info!
