  1. I just hope Moebius will price them in line with their other comparable kits. The reason I never bought one in the past was Galaxie pricing them at roughly twice the cost of other kits. [if not more] I know they're nice kits but I can't really see paying a premium price for a kit that's no more "premium" them pretty well all Moebius' other car kits.
  2. Michael, just so you know, I was able to post in the thread by doing it as a response to another post like I'm doing here. Might be another clue.
  3. Mr. Hobby Gundam markers are pretty popular.
  4. The bedrooms in my house are both front and rear. Master in front and spare in rear on the right side looking from the street. Bathroom between them and kitchen and living room on the left side. Very common way of building a house in the '70s and '80s around here.
  5. Correct you are sir. But I'm not French and speak very little of it. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  6. French Canadian Peter, much like how you spelled "Canadian". ๐Ÿ˜‰ But, wow, I just wish you guys would post as many comments on my latest build as you do my spelling and grammar mistakes. ๐Ÿ™„
  7. Pretty wild there, Steve. I had doubts when you started but you brought it all together in fine form. Pretty cool. ๐Ÿ‘
  8. How much do you make on there, Bill? ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜
  9. No Canadian. The mouses are all imported from Australia here. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  10. A grey or black base under pearl yellow will make it look green. Optical illusion.
  11. Left klik on picture ,, "copy image" put cursor in reply box and klik "paste".
  12. Yup, The leftover parts will make an '84-ish GMC stepside. OR I might try to get an '86/'87 Chevy grille. Either way, I have enough parts tp build another complete truck .
  13. I'd recommend a light base or at least a similar color base under it. This is their pearl yellow over bare plastic ,, but then again. yellows never cover well.
  14. Moebius had that sign on their table at a show last year so I'd say they do intend to produce the kit, just a matter of when.
  15. Hey Wilde, ever consider doing some Meteor conversions? Grilles for the '56, '57 and '60 and '61 could be done as wall as the '66. I think the '61 looks particularly cool.
  16. Not my fault, not my problem. If Ray was out of the decals you wanted you have to wait until he has more printed, simple as that. Why not try getting in touch with Ray directly instead of going through a middle-man? Don't bother responding to my message, not my circus, not my monkeys.๐Ÿคก๐Ÿ’
  17. Been working on the frame mods. I "Z-ed" the back 1/2, removed the spare tire and made a new rear crossmember. First I cut the frame apart on the diagonal, using the crossmembers as reference points to make the cuts the same on both sides. The place where I cut was very thick. Gives me lots of gluing area but the drop would have been more then I wanted so I carefully cut a couple scale inches out of the diagonal so it would give me a more modest drop when glued back together. Then the 2 parts fit snugly back on top of each other and I added a couple small squares of sheet plastic to strengthen the joint. Compared to the old frame in black, you can se this gives me about a 6 scale inch drop and I could easily still use the stock rear axel and springs if I wanted. But I'll be using the C4 Vette rear end from the AMT '34 Ford hotrod under the back of this one. Planned ride height when finished
  18. Sorry I had to post it as a response to your message Brian. At the time I got the "oops, that page can't be found" message every time I tried to post that as a separate comment. It was the only way it would go through. ๐Ÿคจ
  19. Few Sprues Loose LLC does the Dodge grilles. https://www.ebay.com/itm/375676738581?itmmeta=01JHDEP2D32TQ4A0GK27J689K8&hash=item5778141c15:g:X40AAOSw82Bm--aU
  20. I kinda make mine like in the video but I use then sheet plastic rough cut to shape, stacked with each second piece set in slightly then sand it to final shape.
  21. If you mean under the hood, Steve, no. It was done years ago with Alclad. It's actually very durable and safe from fingerprints if you put it away and let it dry for several years.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜
  22. Thanks again, everyone. Now that I'm feeling better I'll add some info,, The paint is HOK candy root beer over, IIRC, a sandy gold metallic base. It's been over 10 years since I had painted it so some details are a bit fuzzy. Basic engine, under hood details and front suspension parts are from the AMT '57 Chrysler 300 with the fuel injection setup from the AMT '53 Ford pickups optional hemi. Wheels and tires are from the Revell '57 Chevy snap kit. I just got lucky with the foil coming out as good as it did. Never did anything different then I usually do. Hope everyone has s great 2025. ๐Ÿ™‚
  23. The way the interior panels and frame rails are laid out to me suggest that it will be easy to modify the kit into a pickup with either 2 or 4 wheel drive in the future. Also it looks like it will be easy to delete the Blazer side windows for future pickup releases. Also the 4 smaller headlight lenses for the upmarket grille. I know a lot of you guys are looking forward to a more "mainstream" civilian Blazer kit but the way this is all engineered, I'm looking a little farther ahead.
