  1. Don't read too much into it, it's just how it was translated.
  2. Yea, we got enough of these,, Who'd want more of that? ?
  3. I'll definitely be all over these when they're released. ?
  4. Did you print that Phantom grille, Steve O ? I don't remember seeing any before besides the Revell S-10 one.
  5. You do know Mobius has announced a '67/'68 last fall for the near future, right?
  6. Yup, what Dan said ! ☝️
  7. This one wasn't bad, being a copy of the MPC kit. The body and interior are really pretty good, it's just the MPC cribbed chassis and engine that come up short. ,, last seen as,,
  8. Nice looking plates, Curtis. Just a FYI, the N.B. plates that start with "C" are commercial plates. usually seen on pickups used for work and larger trucks. A vehicle with them doesn't necessarily have to have company lettering of any kind and it's actually more common to see pickups with those plates and no company livery.
  9. You could just use the grille from the new '92 kit on the old 454SS kit, it fits.
  10. According to the Bareass site it has the engine out of a '69 442 and an automatic tranny so ?? [could be anything on the real car, base Cutlass 350 V8 probably] But, yea, the kit engine is total fabrication. and the intake pipes are just attached to the hood. He was kinda known for "fast and dirty" so I don't really believe much that's posted on the site but, here's a link,, http://www.barris.com/carsgallery/tvmovie/beverlyhillbillies.php
  11. It's an Olds engine. Considering when the rod car was made for the TV show, it's probably a 400 or 425.
  12. Just went and checked mine again. The front bumper does protrude a bit at the sides but the real ones do to. But there's no gaps around them like in your pic. No hump in the door and the back bumper lines up much better then the one in your pic. I can take some pics tomorrow if you like. For now, here's a side shot of a real car. My front bumper doesn't protrude much more then this.
  13. Well, bet you guys didn't know it but I have a "hybrid" in the garage , , , , Get this ,, the Trans Am uses a battery powered electric motor to start the gas powered 5 liter engine !! ??
  14. WHAT !!! LEFT FOOT??? ?
  15. I was just looking at my copy of the annual a few minutes ago, I specifically looked for those issues you mention and couldn't see any problems with mine. Were you referring to the annual or the simpler, "Craftsman Plus" kit
  16. Do you have any idea how hard it is to text when you need one hand to work the steering thingy and one to work that gear thingy? ?
  17. Got the engine finished and installed. Was going to go with a SBC but decided I wanted something different this time.
  18. Got the bodywork done except for a couple pin holes in the grille surround. Removed the rub strips on the sides and have it in primer. I think I'll start paint today.
  19. Not seeing any Demon grilles, John. Must be sold out.
  20. Could also be this one?? [edit] Looking at both, I think the kit is closer to this car. https://www.dhrofgo.com/sold/1965-lola-t70-mki-spyder-chassis-sl703/ BTW, anyone know what that beautiful pearl blue is exactly?
  21. This page might come in useful Karl. I'm not 100% sure it's the exact same car but I think it is from what the writeup says. The intake and carbs are not like in the kit though. [I also have that kit] https://racecarsdirect.com/Advert/Details/124153/lola-t70-mk1-sl7012
  22. Yes, that's just the color of the paper backing.
  23. Oh, OK, I get it, you mean "No way ,, this is cool", got it. Hard to tell without context. ?
