  1. I'm glad to see the 41 Plymouth out again, hopefully a little cleaned up. When ever I see one of these I snap it up, they are just a cool and different canvas to build a neat old school rod with, maybe do a tail dragger like this.
  2. Well I'll have to wait till they hit here in the Pacific NW, good comments everyone, I am rather disappointed with regards to the rear wheel wells, I wish they had left them stock and let us grind them out if we so desire to do so. Yes probably easier to use an AMT '29 and fix that which is what I'll do for a vintage hot rod. Curious to see what come out on the Buick Nailhead issue. One last note Tim do you suppose that the up coming 30/31 Coupe's rear wheel wells will be correct? The chopped roof I can handle. I'm not wanting to open another can of worms here. By the way thanks Tim for the through review, I going to snap up two maybe three just for parts, can't wait.
  3. I like what you got going here so far, looks cool keep it going. I got a chopped custom going as well, using a similar front end.
  4. Nice start on the 36, sounds like you have a good plan.
  5. DeeCee, that is a '59 Ranchero, all look very nice.
  6. With everything said and done I am still looking forward to getting one of these 69's when they hit my area. I won't build it stock but I'm going to build it.?
  7. Wow that engine block sure looks odd.
  8. You also might want to check with Norm Verber at Replicas and Minitures of Maryland. He might have one also.
  9. You got the stance already nailed down, looks cool. The Monogram 32 Roadster is a decent kit to build. As far as what to use for a triple carb setup in 1/24 scale you have me a little stumped. Can't wait to see more.
  10. Sone of you all from Texas and elsewhere down south who may be more used to this weather would probably call me a winp, ok I'm a wimp, ? Dominik, the trim on the resign body was good, it's a Modelhaus product. I just chose to add the Del-Ray chrome sweep. Thanks for the interest.
  11. Hoping to get back to this, it is ready for primer and paint, but the weather up here in the Pacific NW is record highs so having to wait for the temperature to come down a bit. Hope to post photos soon. Thanks for your patience.
  12. Nice build, looking good.
  13. Jon, thanks for the information on the wheels and rims. Your Hudson is looking really good. Keep it going.
  14. $41.95, yikes. My LHS usually runs s discount in the first couple of weeks too. It all looks well worth it. Time to save up some cash.
  15. Real nice, where did the rims come from out of curiosity.
  16. Any word as to when to expect this on the shelves?
  17. Hey I just picked this one up and I personally can't wait to get into it. Like wise, thanks for the engine paint Information dave & Art. Much appreciated
  18. Tim, Thank you for the review, this is another to add to my build list. Dropped down with metalflake and bellflower exhaust, can't wait. Thanks again Tim.
  19. My favorite too, I have 4 of the AMT's & yes I just got the Revell 57 (going to build the Revell as a gasser). Can't wait.
  20. Thanks Chuck, I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for this.?

Nice start, I will be watching this one.
  22. Chuck I really like your mild custom '54 Hornet. I have a chopped '53 going. I was debating on getting the 54 until I saw yours. Now I can't wait until it comes out, time to breakout the saws.
  23. Sweet, I like it.?
  24. I am liking what I see so far, keep up the good work.
  25. Sounds promising, as for me I will chuck the frame and all and hot rod it with whatever I can find to work. It will be fun.
