  1. Wow, some really nice work guys. Here are a few of mine
  2. The basics should be there, and the monster stuff was added. Look at the Firestones Ford, it became Bigfoot and the Destroyer but came back as the Firestone version. Same with the 72 Blazer. It was the Thunderbolt. I'd love to see the Dodge also.
  3. Got a cheap camera and wanted to try it out. Need to play with settings a bit.
  4. Wow... that was quick and nice!
  5. Two... count them two 40 Ford Sedans on two different workbenches at the same time. It is going to be a good month.

    62 TBird

I been painting all summer long. The bird looks great. I like the slight weather (read that as realistic looking) interior.
  7. Looks ready to rock as it is. Maybe a lil black wash on the wheels.
  8. 24" to center of the front center line of the crankshaft. Bill, since you are running without the bumper/valance, be sure to cut off the fender at the scribbed line. That is actually part of the valance. If you are ambitious, sand the bottom of the header a bit, it is to thick. The 1:1 57's, the lower part of the headlight bucket was about a 1/2" lower than the header and the upper grill dipped down in that area. If sanded below the headlight at an angle so the grill right there tucks up behind the headlight area, it will look fine. Thinning this down 1/16" makes a HUGE difference in the front end. Also, if you go this route, be sure to trim the fender to match the bottom of the grill. Looking forward to seeing this done. Go for the BMF, start with a new blade, slow and easy. Yup, I been doing awhile and it still intimidates me! don't burnish down real good til after trimming. Makes getting the excess off tough.
  9. If you just want the breathers, they should be easy to make out of styrene.
  10. Looking good! Only thing really off is the spare tire well, the rest is fine.
  11. Very nice. I like it alot! Why didn't you trim out the stainless stone guards on the quarters?
  12. Solid color would be fine, but dropped with some wide wheels and tires would be sharp
  13. Looks great.
  14. Using the retractable interior pieces really sets it apart. Looks great
  15. Yes, it does.... and seats, but not as nice as the AMT Annual seats
  16. Love the "D" spoke wheels on it. With those wheel wells, you can go with 8" wide wheels and give it the stock car look. Little bit of paint, you could have a street version like this in Sweden...
  17. Yup, that is it. I have the front seats from an annual also I want to cast. For more of a stock build, the AMT/MPC 73 Cougar is a good donor for chassis and shock towers
  18. Red and white or black and white inside would work also. One day I'll get my hands on a 59. I have a few 60's tho
  19. I have several of these in different issues. I really enjoy them and with some patience, they build to a very nice kit. The plain, racing dash only is a disappointment, but luckily I have a stock dash from the annual I will eventually resin cast. I wish they would update the kit though, keeping the main components and doing something under the hood and chassis would be great.
  20. Looking cool, but the rear tires look too tall IMO
  21. Yes, the lowering was worth the effort for sure. Looking good, wish I had one of these kits.
  22. Looks really nice.
  23. Great save!
  24. Looks cool
