  1. I think you need a bigger clamp
  2. I know it looks better than the Monogram one I have. Keep thinking of building a flared fender pro touring type car out of it.
  3. Wow... doing great. Here is a hint of a trick I use. Keep those credit type cards that come in the mail, they make great squeegees for applying filler. I cut them into 1 inch long by 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide strips. Use once, discard
  4. What kit is this? Love the build. Wheels are super sharp.
  5. I see a cat with the 53 Carib..... 52 Merc was not open
  6. Looks good. I like the injected Y Block
  7. Well, now you know differences. ALL 56's had continental kits
  8. Greg.... I am going to be a lil technical on this. You are incorrect, it was this.... a 55 You pic is a 56. Note the nose emblem and Y-block emblem on the fender. 56 has Ford Crest. 55 had no portholes or continental kits unless added. Also, no side vent or wind wings or visors. Here is an intersting one. The engine dress up was an option, included chrome air filter cover, Chrome oil cap, Finned valve covers, and in 55 and early 56, chrome 3 blade fan. Just playin though, I think it was the Thunderbird also
  9. I believe I bought 6 myself. The snappers are for my kids for Christmas, so I am good! I do not have a problem....
  10. guess the urge got ya!
  11. Jim, Vince and Andy, took 3 stores but I located all but one requested kit
  12. Thanks Jim, I'll Grab 'em Sunday I'll grab yours too Andy
  13. I can do it again Jim
  14. I drill a hole and use a piece of wire insulation for grommets. Glue from inside, leave it long outside and and trim.
  15. Even without the discount, their prices are good. I want to go grab that Peterbuilt.
  16. Todays haul.... went a little overboard, but they were $32 and change out the door.
  17. Very nice
  18. Problem with that, most of the latest Revell "New" tool kits have been lacking in accuracy. I could name a bunch, but will refrain myself.
  19. They may be clearing for more inventory. They did that several years ago, kits from $2.59 to 5.99...... I came home with 12 kits that day
  20. Send ma a PM if they have the Road Runner, that's about 30 minutes away
  21. I try to buy as much as possible from them so they keep selling them. Their prices are great. The Glidden 'Bird is $16.99 without the sale. They carried AMT long ago, thinking about sending them a letter asking if they may consider it again.
  22. Sorry, all gone from the 3 store I checked. I wanted another for the wheels.
  23. Ohhhh..... she's is my best supplier! LMAO
  24. LOL..... When I was "attached" I'd buy off ebay and have sent to my office at work. When I left the job I had about 50 kits stacked up there I smuggled to the garage. Did not think it out to well, should of taken one or two at a time.
