  1. I want a few to set aside as slump busters and at least one to do a Pro Touring type build. Nascar Taurus chassis, some modified interior pieces from maybe a Mustang or 80's T'Bird, twin turbo Nascar 355 or the supercharged 4.6 from a Stallion kit.... Yea, I see it. That is a good looking car When dressed to look like a 2 door. Aftermarket decals for sure
  2. Anybody have pics of a built up 71 Galaxie? I really want one to do a replica of my 71 Custom 500 but for the money, I want to be sure of what I am receiving. A 2 door 78 would be great.
  3. The Dodge Daytona would be nice to see again. Could build a nice pro street with it (and the EXP) MPC did a Silverado, Possibly same as the AMT.
  4. You sure about 2 and 3? They were available at the same time, so maybe one of them was retooled?
  5. After sitting a long time after use, it will gel also. A little hot water and shake or stir it up brings it back to life
  6. Some from the Gila monster....
  7. I remember seeing all those promos in that movie. There was a scene in the 70's Superman movie where I saw the Revell 32 Roadster sitting on the side of the road along with a few Vettes and a Jag
  8. Without the guns, I'd say it looks like a patched up Saturday night special.
  9. How the heck could you see to drive it?

No offense was taken. Was stating many simple, old tool kits make many of the detailed new tool kits look bad. Especially these old Johans. This kit and build looks great as is. Would not change a thing.
  11. Looks good, it is next on my list. Were the axles too long? I just finished the Tennessee Trooper car. I enjoyed it very much. I did do some painting on the chassis and swapped out the tires for something a bit wider
  12. Lookin good
  13. nope.... too short
  14. Great build on this kit. wonder if that chassis fits the 40 Ford? Looks very familiar I like that you opened the door window opening. The flat part you removed looks odd, but is correct.

I do not care if it is super detailed by the manufacturer or the builder, these are very cool and this one is really sharp
  16. LOL.... I was thinking a Chevette engine, but you are right, no engine is better
  17. looking forward to getting that one also
  18. Try the 72 Nova as a donor. I do not understand why they have the street tires but the chassis is tubbed. Making mine a pro street, and going to try a conversion to stock on another.
  19. I did find one.... Wish i could locate a real one. New, they were sharp. Just a paint and interior package. Was available on Mustangs and Pintos in '80
  20. I looked... nothing
  21. A friend threw a rod on a slant 6 Diplomat. Broke near the crank, big hole in the block. He drove it 15 miles home! i remember him showing it to me, saw the hole and the darn thing fired right up. Volares and Aspens usually had no front fenders around here. I saw one with the springs thru the trunk. The only bugs were that lean burn set-up. Ford And GM had their ignition module issue periodically. Otherwise, they were all pretty bulletproof if the bodies did not fall off. Styling was not that bad, The Mavericks, Novas, and Volares were all pretty sharp with the right paint and wheels. Even the Pintos and Vegas could be made sharp. Vega GT, Pinto Rally, AMX (Spirit) all pretty good looking from the factory. Many I'd love to own today. Anybody remember the special edition Mustang and Pintos from 79 or 80? Black with gold stripes. Cannot find a photo anywhere.
