Wonder what's next from Round2 AMT ?
Sledsel replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I expect the Lil Red Express truck, 57 Fairlane, Wild Hoss Bronco, Wildcat and Cougar Funny car from AMT. The Flip nose 57 Chevy, Chevy Monza and Slingshot Fiat dragster These are merely guesses based on previously released kits -
I am liking it so far. The Desoto grill would be good if the teeth were installed straight. Try an AMT 56 Ford front bumper. The Chevy bumper just looks to big and clunky.

Looking great. I like this kit, but the tires are to narrow..... IMO

I like it.... a lot! Not overdone, just a cool custom Merc.

Kinda has a camo look to it -
That is odd... never noticed it on the kit I had, but it has been traded off, therefore, I am no real help
-
Looking good..... Looking forward to progress. Any color thoughts?

I prefer Purple Power. Less mess That is an old kit dating back to 1964. A little paint work underneath and add some hoses using solid core wire (it keeps its shape when bent) and you will have a good looking kit

Quick Overview: Revell Starsky & Hutch Torino
Sledsel replied to Chuck Kourouklis's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
The 74's did not have crank rear windows and yes, the 72 seats are different unless it is a standard bench. -
Watching this build for sure. Heard some bad hings about these kits, so I am glad to see this. Love the "Only feed the left bank" intake manifold! LOL

Plum crazy purple with what interior color
Sledsel replied to Riley Customs's topic in WIP: Model Cars
is that the Krylon Shimmer Purple? Looks great. I like a lot of flake, especially for customs My vote is white interior, great contrast. -
Great looking build. Not getting into those wheels and tires tho. But that is just me. It would be great to see this again, but it became the Monaco police car

Very cool. Glad it was posted here or I had never seen it

That and the PlastiKote projekt clear. Goes on like glass. Both enamel base, so covering Duplicolor is easy -

427 SOHC valve covers
Sledsel replied to landman's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Cool dio..... I have an observation for the future. The valve covers on the center engine are on the wrong sides. The more square end goes to the front. On a 1:1 it is for cam gear clearance. I did it too, so don't feel bad. I doubt I will ever correct mine. -
Yea, they like to mess with us. I know when I am unsure, I look up reference photos and trial fit..... A LOT!

1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Club Victoria. Class of 1957.
Sledsel replied to Lovefordgalaxie's topic in Model Cars
Another beautiful '57 from you.... -
Very nice, LOVE the color scheme. Going with the stripes? Wish I has seen the build earlier.... Not a knock, but you made a boo boo..... if you do another, this is the correct distributor location, in the block next to the water neck (although, it looks okay all built) Kinda cool I found a 1:1 the the same color
