  1. I built one a few years back, cool old kit. Will get another someday since it was destroyed in a move. If I could make a suggestion, on the future one(s) try trimming out the panels between the bars around the engine. Makes a world of difference
  2. Well, my wallet is saved for a bit. What I hope to see in the future is the '64 Galaxie (even as a craftsman kit) the Ohio George Multi Maverick and the AWB 67 Comet. Those are on my Round2 wish list.
  3. Looking great! Love '62's
  4. Looking great......as usual.
  5. Those wheels look to be the standard AMT or Monogram NASCAR wheels from the 90's Car kept looking familiar to me, then I saw my son playing with his Hot Wheels and noticed this.............
  6. Looking great!
  7. very minor, but looks better. Will really stand out next to one that is not modified.
  8. Looks good, Don't see the roofs on these chopped in this manner much. Usually the rear window area in tilted forward to make up the length difference and the window does not change in size. The photo is a build by "Fletch" As good as you are doing this way, maybe try the other way on another and see how they compare. I vote loose the scoop unless it is a drag car of sorts. The era's do not mix
  9. Cool
  10. Love the lower valance under the grill. Fabricated from flipped over grill pieces I assume. My 48 had similar headlights, but I had smaller rings from a 56 Ford truck. The "V" butted glass is nice too
  11. Thank you for the info, I will be watching for sure. For the chopped car, I an sure you will do it justice no matter what! Yea, the Revell 57's are really bad IMO. One day I will have to mail you a corrected one and let you do your magic.
  12. Looking great TĂșlio!!!!! I will be watching progress on this. Been wanting one and the box art looked odd around the windshield area, but I was hoping it was an "art touch up" issue. From what I see on your build, it is. The issues I see on the art photo is the windshield looks curved and not flat and "V'd" as it should be. Another issue is the windshield seems too tall, but I know the trim is molded to the windshield. I hope this takes up the space. The Chopped version was bad for this flaw and mine has not been built due to it. If you look at the pics posted you will see what I mean by the windshield looking off. I used the door frame as a point to judge the windshield height. I also posted a pic of the chopped car and it shows the height issue pretty clear. Opening is above the frame and drip rail If anybody's build will verify how it really looks, yours will. Your builds and photography are excellent.
  13. Looks good.
  14. Looks great
  15. Good start. Love the frame set up. Quick question, is that a lacquer based putty? If so, after awhile it will shrink on you, and you will have sink marks. If that's what it is, I'd dig it out and fill with epoxy first. Just sayin, been there and have some showing where I filled on the shelf.
  16. Nice kit, Great build
  17. I have one of these also, so I am watching. I know that rear end size is CRAZY, but it is not far off from what was used.
  18. Old kit, but I always liked it. Lookin good
  19. Looks great. Always liked this kit, it just looks good
  20. Heck, it is written "Superbird" on the box. I could tell neither were 500's. Everyone above is correct, the pre-FF DOH chargers had the 500 window. I have one or two here.
  21. The kit engine is a supercharged YBlock. Set of Boss Mustang what? LOL Search alot of photos of 57 Fords, this kit has a bunch of flaws and can look much better with the right changes
  22. I Love it!!!! Took a moment to figure what kit this was. Looks awesome and the details a superb. The paint is awesome. I must point out a few technical issues tho. Your valve covers are backward. The squared end goes to the front for the cam gear clearance. Also, the oil pan is backwards, the sump should be in the front for the oil pump clearance. They did make a shallow front pan with a rear sump for these issues. This is not meant as a criticism, just an FYI. I have done similar things in the past with makes I did not know better about.
  23. Cool, Have thought about something like this also. I have the police parts from these if you need them.
  24. Wow, That wagon photo shop looks so long, although it is the same as before.
