  1. Looking cool, love the wheels. Odd they did not do the fender/door trim like the rear quarter trim
  2. That was my option of choice on the Revell Chopped '49 Merc, I just gave up on it. Was frustrated beyond belief.
  3. Biggest issues I have with the chopped coupe are the rear quarter windows (The rear radius of the window is pretty much stock) which should have a sharper radius. And the windshield opening. Windshield is too tall, to narrow and to square looking. The Police coupe suffers from this also. They both suffer the squashed looking roof of the 49 Mercury also
  4. Be nice if they fixed the floors of the Torino. Driving me crazy fixing it. The rest of the fixes have not been too bad. Front bumper fix is tought to get it to look right tho.
  5. If sharing anything with the Torino, I'd pass.....
  6. Looking REALLY good. Before you get to far on the body, cut off the lower part of the front fenders. If you want the front valance, get one from an AMT 57, it is closer to correct. The valance is one piece and attached to the fender and that lower area is not part of the fender. Sand the lower header panel to raise the grill, it is about a scale inch too low. Revell really dropped the ball on accuracy on their 57 Ford kits. They need A LOT of work to be made correct.
  7. I'd buy these by the case. Unless of course it was screwed it up like a few other kits I have bought
  8. Lookin really good!!
  9. I'd be interested in a 73 body, hood, bumpers and glass if ya want do some trading
  10. No, you cannot fix that, it is beyond repair. You should just mail it to me so it is not cluttering your space. LOL
  11. Not sure I would try a 73 Sport as the fronts are different between the 73 and 74-76's. Another issue I found once the S&H car was in my hands is the upper body line on the door is too soft and needs careful sanding. The tail light bezel is a poor fit and need to be more flush all around. If you use the S&H engine block and Monogram Nascar 351 cylinder heads, intake and valve covers it makes a convincing Cleveland or 351M/400. If going stock, a modified intake from an AMT Ford FE. The Fire Fighter Mustang has stock style 351 Cleveland valve covers
  12. I am pretty sure I mailed one of these to you last year when I found them on clearance up here.
  13. Have a link to your work on it? Would like to see what you are addressing. I have recently started fighting this kit also.

  16. Looks Great! Is that an Ohio Car? LOL!!
  17. Looks good. Musta got a bad one. I have a few and went together smooth as silk
  18. Yea, I know that is your style and I utterly respect and admire your builds and look forward to them. Wish I had the time to finish a few.
  19. I used red oxide then gray primer, no issues other than the kit itself
  20. Ya did a great job on it. That butchered roof is a tough fix. Still trying to figure out how to unbutcher it. The windshield may not be tough, but those 1/4 windows will be tough. Probably get a stock one and do my own chop.
  21. Looks great! Building one now from the current release. The infamous Unibody 32 Ford. Hahahaha
  22. I agree..... oddly cool also
  23. I used to do the same thing, As your parts stash grows and you see what others do, you will figure it out.
