Looking Great!!!! Not into the scoop tho
-
If anyone has a set of the wide oval whitewalls from the 70 Bonneville, I need a set for the hearse.
-
The top and rear window are remaining as-is. I really do not wish to cover all that block sanding with a vinyl top. I am going to do a divider inside between driver and passenger compartments. The hearse will get trim, landau bars and vinyl tho. Flower car will not get vinyl. AS an FYI, the limo top consists of the rear of a Monogram 58 Thunderbird top and the front is the optional wagon roof.

Looking for advise on sandable primer
Sledsel replied to Oldmopars's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Yes, the plant has been closed for awhile now. According to the local fire marshall because of the size the building cannot be "unoccupied" and all systems in service. I am in there every week to inspect the fire suppression systems. -
ya know, I am kinda liking those Jolly Roger kits...... Would make some interesting out of the ordinary builds for me.

Build it! As for accuracy, it is an old kit and has some issues, (although many old AMT's are pretty accurate) but less than many "new" kits.

Looking for advise on sandable primer
Sledsel replied to Oldmopars's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Duplicolor and Plastikote are both very good. Plastikote is tough to find now that they have ceased production. As with any paint and primer, sand first for good adhesion -
Torino time

Very cool collection. Where are the 68's (pre Talledega) Any plans on converting the Revell Torino to a Grand National? -
I saw that resin on ebay, and it kinda scared me. You did a pretty darn good job on it from what I see. Being the owner of a 72 Montego GT (dark green to boot) I'd love to see a kit of it done.
