  1. Stunning build..... The convertible next? Many of the newer Lindberg kits are of equal caliber.
  2. Actually, I am hoping for the corrected Olds X3!!!! Post of the day!
  3. I will wait for the corrected bumpers before getting a kit, although I want one bad.
  4. Favorite? Toss-up between the AMT 57 Fairlane, AMT 49 Ford and AMT 40 Ford.
  5. I love the reissues..... I can never have enough 40 fords and getting a chance at kits not seen in years is wonderful. That Mack is on my list for sure. I am sure they will be getting some new stuff out, but til then, I am satisfied with their offerings.
  6. What is inside is not much better IMO.... Been doing a lot of correcting and scratch building on one
  7. Very cool and a great job with it. I love these interesting, out of the norm builds.
  8. I love the fact they are going into the 70's Nascar era...... If they are good, i will buy them for sure Hope to see some non-GM offerings though.
  9. So far I picked up (2) 49 Fords, 57 Ford, 66 Batmobile, Ecto 1, 53 Ford Conv, (2) 76 Torino's, and a 48 Ford. I do not think anybody likes the Revell RX7.... there were a few at each store as of today.
  10. Ok, the shock towers are removed, so what is the front suspension set up?
  11. Looks to be in a 55-57 Thunderbird
  12. I love watching Ebay prices drop like rocks........ although, some sellers will not come off high prices even for a current kit. Oh well....
  13. Slowly working on the Vicky myself.... Watching to see more
  14. A agree, the 1/4 window looks a bit small, but that is an easy fix. Still, it is 2018......
  15. Looking good... Both kits are very nice IMO. I do a lot of summer painting to ready for winter building.
  16. I know these are everywhere and often overlooked, but as we see, the really build up nice.
  17. I really love doing builds like these!!! They look great!
  18. I have an original issue of this and picked up an older Revell 57 (opening doors and trunk) to try and use the interior and frame/floorpan into the MPC... No dice without major surgery so it will be built out of the box although I may remove the side trim. I see this kit returning in the near future from R2, so I will end up with a few more.
  19. I have always loved this kit and have quite a few in my stash. Saw them on clearance at HL and grabbed another. Saw the Desoto bumper was restored and went to grab the other 2 there... but they were gone......
  20. Great job on the interior. Is the spoiler home made or the resin. As an FYI, you could have saved a lot of trouble using the AMT body. I started on an AMT, did a bunch of MPC parts swapping to come up with my Shelby II Looking forward to seeing more of this build.
  21. I doubt we would ever see the Cobra II or Mustang II in stock form from MPC. The MPC kit was modified into the Pro Stock kit (Dyno Don, Firefighter, Midnight Mustang) The frame would be easy to fix, but not the interior tub.
  22. I found the same thing with the long arm suspension, basically drops in. Build looks great
  23. I just picked up the Revell glue kit... It is pretty nice, and so is your build.
