  1. I hope it is the correct version (Keep on Trucking version)
  2. I actually thought the same thing!
  3. I have a 67 Impala kit.... I need to look in there. Maybe these came out of it.
  4. I'll be watching this. Been wanting to see one of these kitted
  5. Did some bodywork on one side and laid some primer to check progress. I think it's coming along. I found a Daytona nose, but I think it would be a bit much.
  6. Very minor update: I decided to go with a Revell hood because it was much crisper than the AMT/MPC. Some work was needed FYI Even though it is a 70's car, I didn't like the rear tires sticking out. If I had noticed, I would have narrowed the rear a bit, but I do not want to tear down the chassis, so I decided to flare the rear quarters a bit.
  7. Cool kit.......
  8. That thang looks sweet. The driver must be really short though...... HAHAHAHA
  9. Definitely not the 34 Ford... I have that kit near, unbuilt, so I checked I have no Vettes, but a bunch of 90's AMT kits I will need to check FYI, pic is the same tire, just flipped over. I need two sets if anyone has extras (or one set of four wider ones) Also, gotta dig in my stash. At least now I know what to look in.
  10. I have a set of these tires and have no clue what they came from. They say Good Year Eagle GS-C on both sides but with different lettering, and there is a front and rear set. The rear is slightly wider than the front. I need a few sets and do not know what kit they were from. Anybody have a clue?
  11. I am in for the Pinto Chevelle and Firebird. As for the Revell Chevelle, I have to see it first. Revell has been very disappointing to me lately. Didn't someone make a decal for the AMT Chevelle tail lights that you used after filling the hole?
  12. You are comparing apples to oranges. The flipnose kit is originally from the 70's and has it's flaws. The Revell is a newer tool and "should" be more accurate. But this is not always the case.
  13. Okay, after the flu and a fall from a ladder, I have an update, Got the chassis done, just need to do some paint touch up and details. Wheels are from the Monogram Heavy Chevy Chevelle I modified the wheel wells for the tire fit and have started fitting some Revell interior panels. Now, mind you, this is being built from parts box stuff. I have not started or used a complete kit, just leftovers.
  14. This was the first issue I ever built
  15. I am hoping for this and the 64 Galaxie
  16. Been watching for a Rat Trap Vega on the auction site. I can stop now.... I think that and the Riv will make it home, maybe the 57
  17. I am doing one, but it is not finished yet. Top chop is, but not the remainder of the bodywork.
  18. Superb.... Can't say nothing more
  19. Wow.... That kit is nice out-of-the-box, but you are stepping it up.
  20. I can't wait to see it. I have the AMT kit and it is actually pretty nice too

    1972 GTO

    I'd say ya nailed it!
  22. Looking good. Great details
  23. No real progress other than a fill piece for the rear. Looking at an interior plan now.
  24. Well, with some looking, I found the AMT Grand Prix stock car chassis fits pretty well although the wheelbase is too short. I decided to lengthen it at the front rather than the middle. Engine will be the Charger kit Hemi and set back since the firewall is back also. Still not sure where it is going, but it is not going to be a "race" car and it will be low.
  25. I love those cars!!! Have any more info on the kit?
