  1. Not a great kit, but I'd rather have a repop needing work than paying big $$$ for a vintage. A little patience and it will look good... and you are well on your way with it.
  2. Looking good. Great gift.
  3. If that's the latest Revell kit, it is pretty nice and should come out well.
  4. I do not believe the 65 windshield fits FYI. I have a 61 or 62 that I got off the 'bay and was going to use the roof as a donor, but the 65 is wider.
  5. A 51 Henry J came in the mail today
  6. The fenders on the 77 and 78 are even identical to the 71-76, with the rubber piece bolted on where the pot metal bezel bolted on the earlier models. Front clip from a 71 will go right on an 80 also. You are correct Robert, I was commenting on the tooling. Although, it is possible the 77/78 hatchback tooling could still survive since a 79/80 hatchback was never kitted. The original Pinto Rough Rider Modified came out in 75, so the 77/8 did not meet that fate
  7. I am finally "attempting" to finish one I started 10 years ago!
  8. That is one sharp Impala
  9. Very nice and worth the wait
  10. I jump around too much. I'll see something or get an idea and get to work on it..... then something else catches my fancy and off to a new one. Ugh
  11. Saw this too...............
  12. Pretty sure the 78 was modified to the 79.....
  13. Pinto? Did I see Pinto?
  14. Not orange or red.... LOVE IT
  15. Anxiously waiting
  16. What kit is that engine from? It looks to be an FE engine (390/427) The Dragula had a 289 small block. That FE engine may not fit in there. Other than that, I am watching the save.
  17. That is a good looking clone. I used the AMT for the one I am doing. Not making it a flip nose though.
  18. Makes 2 of us. I know "announcing" could be an issue if problems arise, but sure things would be nice to see when something is a done deal.
  19. Very cool, cannot wait to see more
  20. Very impressive work.
  21. Very cool...... I thought I read it was but could not confirm. Of course it is being used, they were very good cars, I drove a few to the ground and rarely had to repair anything. If someone did this kit, they could easily do an LTD II and Cougar also. If it ever happens, my shelf will look like a dealership from the 70's
  22. Thanks Jesse. did a quick size comparison and it looks like it will work well.
