  2. Discount Drug Mart has Revell/Monogram kits 25% off. Regular prices range from $9.99 to $19.99. Picked up the Orange Crate 32 and 70 Torino for $24 today.
  3. EEK! I gotta watch this.
  4. I'll use the gasser parts on a coupe. Easy Cheesy
  5. Whoa.... I almost bought the nomad. Glad I didn't. Thanks.
  6. Keystones, 409, ect ect gone?
  7. Why does everyone seem to hit dead center?
  8. Isn't this the old tool kit? Just saw it today at the store
  9. looking really nice. Interior is very realistic looking
  10. There was no WIP thread..... Pretty simple, flat styrene to fill the wheel well area of the frame in. Mounting holes for the stock springs are in the FF chassis. Spare tire well will need fabbed or omitted. Luckily, I had a fuel tank with it Pieced the interior together. Rear and sides AMT
  11. AMT Body and interior sides, Modified Firefighter chassis. Doing something similar with the WT Mustang and a Monogram Boss 429
  12. I have an Annual AMT 71 original dash and front seats. No console though. Into casting?
  13. Would not even need a modern Mustang II, just an MPC release but I believe it was retooled to the Pro stock kits (FireFighter, Midnight Express) Using a modified MPC Chassis and retooled interior and AMT body would give us a nice Mustang II kit. As for the 71-73, Retool the grill/headlights to interchange, new 71-73 front bumper, and a chassis with the correct shock towers and firewall. The AMT body is fine. and the MPC interior tub works too (Front seats are horrible though)
  14. well that's a bummer
  15. Nice. I have a decently built one and some other kits going on the trading block soon. Cool kit, just not my cup of tea. Would need a Boss 429 or something
  16. Does the fire chief car have the formal roof body or the Sport Coupe roof? I do not recall... I was like 8 Box art shows Sport Coupe
  17. Looks really cool That the old monogram kit?
  18. Yup..... But I'd LOVE to see that one also. I built it as a kid and would love another.
  19. Love it
  20. Depends on your gap location. The interior may be touching the windows. If they are not glued real well, remove them and sand out your areas of contact. I usually do this anyways Dry fitting is always your friend. I have run into issues like this many times
  21. Looks great. Love these old kits. Where you get the hood?
  22. X2 I had built something similar with a Monogram 70 Boss 429 kit long ago. Used the body and a scratch built chassis. First run was an epic fail. Used nails in the asphalt parking lot with a line between...... but they were too close, car hit the second nail at full speed. Pretty cool to see though.
  23. Very good looking build
  24. Wow..... I'd be trying to figure out how I want to build it still. Looks great.
  25. They are not bad, wheels and tires have a lot to be desired tho. I have a bunch of the Lindbergh reissues if interested. I believe I have all the 30's -early 50's, sealed
