  1. Looks AWESOME
  2. Love the GP!
  3. Very cool car, but the front fender skirts are a no-go to me. Liking your build, love the spoon patches.
  4. if you do not want the scoop, the hood is a pain because the plug is very thin. Also, the later kits the seats need reclined a little, or the front shimmed up. Builds to a good looking model though.
  5. Photo shopping in a real car is not allowed!
  6. For a first time on a top, it looks pretty good. I have tried, I think it is an art to get just right. Love the color and blacked out chrome.
  7. Great tip on the discs. I use bottle caps for paint mixing with a brush.
  8. For $500 plus, I hope i can drive it!
  9. Eds work is great, I have a stash of his stuff. I really like that 57 Ford interior, but do not plan to build more of them.
  10. More Caddy Lincoln and Chrysler kits would be great
  11. I am the oddball out, I have always been partial to this body style.
  12. Now I want one.... thanks alot
  13. I agree with 'junior... Looks good to me also
  14. I think you need a bigger clamp
  15. I know it looks better than the Monogram one I have. Keep thinking of building a flared fender pro touring type car out of it.
  16. Wow... doing great. Here is a hint of a trick I use. Keep those credit type cards that come in the mail, they make great squeegees for applying filler. I cut them into 1 inch long by 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide strips. Use once, discard
  17. What kit is this? Love the build. Wheels are super sharp.
  18. I see a cat with the 53 Carib..... 52 Merc was not open
  19. Looks good. I like the injected Y Block
  20. Well, now you know differences. ALL 56's had continental kits
  21. Greg.... I am going to be a lil technical on this. You are incorrect, it was this.... a 55 You pic is a 56. Note the nose emblem and Y-block emblem on the fender. 56 has Ford Crest. 55 had no portholes or continental kits unless added. Also, no side vent or wind wings or visors. Here is an intersting one. The engine dress up was an option, included chrome air filter cover, Chrome oil cap, Finned valve covers, and in 55 and early 56, chrome 3 blade fan. Just playin though, I think it was the Thunderbird also
  22. I believe I bought 6 myself. The snappers are for my kids for Christmas, so I am good! I do not have a problem....
  23. guess the urge got ya!
