  1. My Saturday Ollie's haul
  2. Nice build and great weathering! The drivers door looks like they filled a large hole with spray foam!!!!! That's rather funny cuz I actually see trucks repaired like that!
  3. That's a DEEP chop. Chops with curved glass is tricky so can I give ya a hint to help....... I have found trimming the glass down to a look I like then chop the top to match. Saves the headaches of cutting the glass first. Just a suggestion that helped me.
  4. Nice collection of Woods Brothers cars!!! Now ya need to go back further and grab a Revell 37 Ford! Collecting parts for one now.
  5. These are ink based also. There are acrylic based pens available from Artship Design
  6. I did an experiment today on an interior I wanted black, but in my experiences flat black and satin black never had the right sheen. I took this Mustang interior tub and primed it with black primer and then coated it with vinyl dye/paint. I think it came out great, I have some red and some gray vinyl dye I'm going to try on some junk interiors. I will post results.
  7. Revell needs to do Jonathan's Galaxie..... It could also serve duty as a 007 car (there is one on the Mustang box art)
  8. That's to bad, that is a 1:24 kit and the others 1:25
  9. Looks great! After seeing all these really nicely detailed kits it is nice to see out-of-the-box builds. I am leaning that way recently because I cannot seem to get things finished.
  10. Yup, now I remember. Thanks for jogging my memory
  11. I believe the lineup was: '70 Olds 442 Rambler SC labelled "Pro Street" 71/2 Comet labelled "Pro Street" 69 AMX I also think the Fury Police car was released under the Jo-Han label around 25 years ago when Seville Enterprises owned Jo-Han
  12. Although it is the AMT version, I'd like to see this again also. I do have all the body kit parts and actually failed at trying to cast them. I have a kit I'll use them one day.
  13. I'll join in. I have 2 Ford powered kits in progress but with the time I get I will post as I finish. Til then I'll post in my '66 Mustang off the shelf.
  14. It would be great to see these again....... Before somebody says the tool was modified for the Pro stock kits, the pro stock (Firefighter and Dyno Don) came out in 74, then there was the annual MPC '75, this in 76, annual 77, and the King Cobra in 78. So I do not think the original tool was modified. I personally believe the tooling for the stock MPC existed into the AMT/Ertl days because that was the last Mustang II kitted under the AMT Street Custom series in 2005. Now, looking at the box build on that, it is clearly the MPC kit that was built although the box contained an AMT kit.
  15. That '53 is a finicky kit when it comes to the flip nose but with a bunch of trial fits it comes out nice. There are locating pins on the rear of the hood to lock it in place, it is best to remove them and add something more rigid. I installed straight pins as hood locks.
  16. I have the rear portion of this and the frame. If ya want it, it's yours. Maybe bash with the current Custom '68 Corvette would make something cool.
  17. Well, it is also missing the taillight panel but I believe the ht/conv part is the same. I have a broken 62 HT someone gave me and I'll need to check that for sure. Drag city casting used to offer the uptop in resin but do not believe it is offered now, but I could be wrong. They really need to bring the '62 kit back!
  18. You can get the complete Vega kit from Omni Models on Ebay for $19.99 and free shipping. FYI
  19. Anyone have a set of bumpers for the Monogram curbside Capri? Looking for both. Thanks
  20. Would this work? It has a generator molded on that you could cut off.
  21. I found this at a thrift store, it's missing the rear tail lights and bumper so hopefully I'll be able to find them
