  1. That '53 is a finicky kit when it comes to the flip nose but with a bunch of trial fits it comes out nice. There are locating pins on the rear of the hood to lock it in place, it is best to remove them and add something more rigid. I installed straight pins as hood locks.
  2. I have the rear portion of this and the frame. If ya want it, it's yours. Maybe bash with the current Custom '68 Corvette would make something cool.
  3. Well, it is also missing the taillight panel but I believe the ht/conv part is the same. I have a broken 62 HT someone gave me and I'll need to check that for sure. Drag city casting used to offer the uptop in resin but do not believe it is offered now, but I could be wrong. They really need to bring the '62 kit back!
  4. You can get the complete Vega kit from Omni Models on Ebay for $19.99 and free shipping. FYI
  5. Anyone have a set of bumpers for the Monogram curbside Capri? Looking for both. Thanks
  6. Would this work? It has a generator molded on that you could cut off.
  7. I found this at a thrift store, it's missing the rear tail lights and bumper so hopefully I'll be able to find them
  8. Good looking build
  9. Came out very nice!!!
  10. Good looking old Chevy. Be nice if the MPC Chevy molds were found!
  11. I must say, these stock model T's really come out nice!! Great job!
  12. Great looking Stratoliner!!!! Great Imagination!
  13. Very cool
  14. Very nice Fairlane. Working on one myself. As for the chassis, if it fits it ships!
  15. Nice job.
  16. That is a nice clean build!
  17. Great Job! Looks very nice! Great color on it. Ironically this old snap kit looks better than the Revell offering.
  18. Nice job on a finicky kit!
  19. This is gonna be cool
  20. I have built this and it goes together pretty well.
  21. As others have said, pre-fit and mock ups through out the build before paint is ever applied. I went thru this with the flipnose 53 Ford truck. Ya learn this bigtime if you ever kitbash. Overall it looks good other than the hood issue.
  22. Looking good so far. I'd like to give you an FYI though, those are small block valve covers and shaped differently that the 390 valve covers. Do with the info as you wish. I had the same issue and used BMF on the kit covers. I like the color choice BTW
