  1. As you mentioned, they do lack detail, but the history on this goes back a long way. With some time and patience, they look great and yours fits that category! Good job!
  2. For being a turd kit (IMO) yours came out nice. Good job.
  3. This should be cool
  4. I painted a car with Rustoleum in the past, but used a gun. Bought 2 quarts and reduced it with lacquer thinner. 2 coats on the car and drove it away an hour later. Looked great. It was a beater and looked good for the 2 years I drove it. Wonder if they sell their cold galvanizing primer like this? If you want really good rust prevention it works wonderfully. I painted a set of steel dealership ramps after only wire brushing the rust then rinsing. 3 years outside and they still look great.
  5. I just watched it and was shocked to see that, the suspension and exhaust pieces. I guess I'll pick up a current release of the 69 even though I already have several earlier releases. Thanks for the info tho. Guess I am not so stoked anymore for my seats!
  6. Came out nice.... Those first pics had me concerned!
  7. Looking really good. I like it.
  8. Yea, it's insane and there is no way I'll buy something like that. To be totally honest, I will not stray away from my F150's with a twin I beam. After my last one was totaled I finally got a replacement. For $1800 I got a less than 100K truck that i can fix at home.
  9. I may have a windshield but am in Ohio.
  10. Your black and chrome pieces are for the 73 Cougar FYI
  11. This is becoming quite impressive!
  12. They should be using the Tesla semi to haul them.... jus' sayin'
  13. Looks great!!!!! Just got one myself!
  14. Been working on a kit off and on, keeps going on hold because I was unable to decide on a wheel/tire combo. Anyone have the Resto Rod wheels from the '66 Nova or '66 Galaxie? PM please. Thanks Andy
  15. Looks really good. I have one but have not tackled it yet.
  16. I bought myself a resin casting kit to do some small parts like valve covers and other things I can do with a single mold cast. My question is can I do a single mold cast of a set of wheels that are flat on the back?

  18. That is one good looking Talledega build
  19. The '63 looks to be a 427 car also!!!!
  20. a few years ago I was looking thru Ebay listings and found a 66 Mustang and 66 Galaxie kit for a cheap starting bid. There was one pic with the listing showing 2 partial builds in a box and all you saw was the tops (hood, roof, trunk) that's it. I put in a bid upon noticing it was not a 66 Galaxie, it was a 68. My opening bid won and I received 2 fairly complete kits. Galaxie was all there, light gluing and no paint on anything but the custom seats were in it and stock seats/console was not included. I started a build and put it away for lack of seats. Low-and-behold I was looking at ebay last week and found a set of 1969 Galaxie seats. Looked at my 69 kit and they are molded in... Hmmmmm, well, needless to say, the seller listed '68 seats as '69's and had a low "buy it now" I got them!!!!!!! . And I found this at a flea market this weekend
  21. What a waste!!!!!
  22. The blue can looking thing on front is supposed to be a distributor. Common placement on a supercharged Cammer.
  23. Nice Cuda and use of extra parts. Ironically I am painting something that same color(seriously just masked some off)
