  1. The short cuts paint goes on very nicely. Yea, they have a few nice '50's colors but in satin, but their clear fixes that.
  2. David, regarding your color comment on the first pic I posted, I knew there was something close available that you were shooting towards. Here it is, Ocean Mist green Rust-oleum.
  3. Yes it is. Good eye!
  4. David, no, that is not my car it just showed the quarter fade the best. Here is a scanned pic of my car. Right now it is partially disassembled because it got fresh paint.
  5. Your '57 is looking great! I have a real soft spot for these cars, especially since I have one in the garage. A little hint to this kit/build: If you sand and get the top of the fender smooth and then use a piece of half round for the ridge you will be much happier with the end result. Another point of concern I have corrected is the area right in front of the rear tire, it needs to fade away from top to bottom. And do not be afraid to glue the front valance to the lower front fender, that is attached on a 1:1. Argent silver is factory correct for the valance also. All merely FYI's
  6. Came out really well.Nice job on the paint!
  7. Good job on 'er!
  8. Super clean build there!
  9. Box art is great, kit not so much IMO.
  10. Great job on it!
  11. I'll give out my 2 cents. I like the Duplicolor scratch fill primer and Rustoleum red oxide sandable primer for body work areas. Both go on heavy with the Rustoleum a bit heavier. After bodywork, or no bodywork I like Duplicolor primer sealer. Goes on fairly smooth but I like a nice wet sanding with 1000 grit before paint.
  12. Looks great! I like the beltline trim delete. I guess we cam be buddies!!!
  13. Looks great!
  14. Still lookin' good!
  15. Lookin good. Personally I think the second color is much better. Rustoleum has some very 50's colors. Pictured is a corrected Revell sedan painted with Rustoleum Seaside I believe. This is a really nice kit, much better than the Revell offereings.
  16. EV, no interest from me. Chargers will also be available with Hurricane inline-6 power.
  17. Saw these today. The Vette really had me interested with the Vermont plates, I'm in Ohio.
  18. Nice short track Chevy!! Quick question: Did the roof break while working on it? All 3 of mine did! Ugh
  19. You photo shopped a real car onto your table! Can't fool me! Super clean build!
  20. Very very nice!!!! Impressive detailing on it!
  21. Super looking build, then top it off with 24 hours! Man, I haven't picked a color in that time! Your paint came out really nice!
  22. Great build! Love seeing videos of guys still running these barges!
  23. Beautiful tribute! Enjoyed your old pics also!
