  1. This is really looking good man. Enjoying each update.
  2. A bit of plumbing. I don't know how you guys keep your builds so clean. I seem to get fingerprints and glue everywhere. I tried my best to avoid touching the chrome but I have panda paws for hands.
  3. What is this sorcery? Stop this nonsense right now! That thing is just beautiful dude.
  4. This is one impressive build. Looking great man.
  5. looking good so far.
  6. awesome build up dude. Really comes to life with the wash bringing out depth. Kudos. I wouldn't mind seeing a Shadow kit myself.
  7. excellent stuff. Looks really good and nicely finished.
  8. Absolutely true every single one of them. Thanks!
  9. Great scott this is nicely done.
  10. looks great so far dude. I have a 74 Cuda (I think it's a 74???) that I built years ago and have lost the chassis somehow. I love this body shape though and will try building a chassis to fit and do a pro street finish on it. Gonna keep an eye on this build. Keep it up.
  11. super clean build. Nice work man.
  12. holy BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH you're quick man. The only thing I got done today was wiring a dizzy!' All six look great and the concept is gonna rock.
  13. I read on here (in the tips section I think) about a way of polishing a damaged windscreen. Using ultra fine grades of sandpaper and polishing cloths. If that helps.
  14. Talk about frustrating! I made some lead clips from styrene as well as the boots and a whole lot of fiddling later I have the dizzy wired now. This is the diagram I used for the correct firing order of a 396BB so it better be correct because I am not going to pull that apart now!
  15. Not much of an update tonight as I went out with a buddy today, I did get me some more styrene and some paints though I decided to just drill out some boots for my leads. I seriously need some new eyes.

    1968 Charger

This is downright spunky! Although it does appear the rims do not fit the tyres too well.
  17. Wow I am so sorry for your loss man. My sincerest condolences to you and yours. My mum is mid stage dementia with alzheimer's also so I know how hard that can be. All the best to you all.
  18. Snake skin's not that hard really. If you get some fishnet material, like the plastic stuff you can buy oranges in, it is easy to use it as a mask to lay the diamond patter for the scales. Even some of them Loufa(?) things that you use in the shower can sometimes be pulled apart and used as a template. Then it is a matter of building up shades using candies and transparent colours. I think Mike Learn did a tutorial from memory, but it was probably someone else.
  19. Here's something else: Do you clear over the chrome? Would it make a difference? And if yes, would you use an acrylic or an enamel clear?
  20. That's a pretty radical looking beast. I see a bit of marbelising on the roof too hey? Nicely built mate.
  21. very very nice. Great build and great finish. I have this kit in my to-do pile also.
  22. This is schmick.
  23. Love the panel vans.
  24. Ah right :thumbsup
