Slow progress. Shortened the chassis and added some filler pieces. Also worked on the floor pans and rear wheel wheels. I ordered some plus size honeycomb wheels which are pretty cool. Beautiful resin castings. I'm not always a fan of the big wheel look but they do fill the fenderwells nicely. Interior is pretty much done. I added seat belts and flocked the floor. Made the sport steering wheel from scratch. Still needs a shifter. I put the core support and radiator in and am finishing the A/C system. Next I need to paint the body and figure out the windows.

Grand Am is another one of my resins. 73 and 74/75.

Looking for a set of decals for the Pellegrini 68 Skylark funny car. Someone made one at some point in time. Thanks!

It was super clean. Great art work.

I found that one in a magazine, I think from an east Coast model show (NNA?). I can't remember but it is a clean model build.

This one has been floating around in my mind since I saw a rendering of it a number of years ago. One of my 73 resin bodies with the GTO nose and modified Buick GSX spoiler, resin Lemans interior, scratch built sport steering wheel, engine from a Firebird kit, Fireball resin Holley carb, 68 Cutlass chassis and resin large Honeycomb wheels. A modern take on a "could have been". Carousel Red/Saddle tan combo. Bucket seats, console, dash and tub my own resins. Sport wheel a cut down and modified NASCAR T Bird wheel. Fun so far. I did deviate on the rear spoiler. The Judge wing did not look right. Too big.

AJ Foyt OldsDoctorLarry replied to TonyK's topic in Stock Cars (NASCAR, Super Stock, Late Model, etc.) Who did the decals?

That may have been the reason for the reinforcing plates in the rear-to mount the "posts" for the Camaro sway bar to mount to. I wanted this to be as real as possible, and it turned out great, Thanks to Harry and Swede and Tim. All tremendous sources of information. This was kind of a mission build for me after I saw the first picture. It has often been called one of the most beautiful NASCAR cars ever and I agree. It was also probably one of the most innovative cars ever. A real tribute to a bunch of REALLY smart engineers.

Nice build. Something my Swedish friends (from Minnesota) schooled me on.

A good rescue. What's that lurking in the background with what appear to be Laguna window louvers?

Looking for a BGN gm V6DoctorLarry replied to Vince66's topic in WIP: Stock Cars (NASCAR, Super Stock, Late Model, etc.) I think I have a resin one somewhere. I'll have to look. I bought it for my 76 Buick Century Pace Car project.
