  3. Thanks for all your nice comments. I’m glad you like it. Dave
  4. I had this in the WIP section under 1939 Ford Tow Truck. I found the box from the model and noticed it is a 1937 Ford pickup not a 1939 as I thought, so sorry about the misinformation. Well, I had finished it a few weeks ago but just took some pics. I had explained all the scratch building and modifications in the WIP. I made the boom from 40 pieces of flat styrene and a few other parts. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. Dave
  5. It just keeps looking better! Amazing detail! Do you know how many hours you put into this? Dave
  6. This came out great! The colors go nice together. Dave
  7. WOW!!! Beautiful work! Very realistic looking and the pics are amazing! Dave
  8. Thanks for all your nice comments. Dave
  9. Thanks Street Rod!!
  10. Thank 70 Sting. I will look into the anti static brush.
  11. The Black Widow I recently dug this one out of a moving box that I built several years ago. I started with Big Daddy Roth’s Beatnik Bandit. I removed the front fenders. I then scratch built the front grill housing, headlights and added the grill. I also made the rear tail lights from red sprue, which I sanded and polished. The seats came from the Lil Coffin and the dash from the Ice Cream Truck. The tires, wheels, engine and exhaust came from the parts box. Painted rattlecan black and lacquered. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. I am open for suggestions on how to remove the dust. I had just cleaned the model before I took the pics. Dave
  12. Good to have you here Ronald! I recently moved to Arizona from Hunterdon County NJ. There are two nice model shows. Look for the Super September Showdown in Boyertown, PA - https://autocarshow.events/carshows/super-september-showdown/ I've been going there for many years. Also NNL East in Wayne NJ. This is a great show! I really miss going to these shows. There is also a huge car show in Macungie, Pa every August. In fact its this August 14th. https://happeningnext.com/event/46th-annual-collector-car-show-andamp-flea-market-eid3a08m05wvw Happy modelling! Dave
  13. Thanks Pat! That must have been quite an experience servicing the pumpjacks there. Dave
  14. Good question! The TD van has been originally altered in quite a few ways. I may alter the trailer side door windows to match the TD van. Neither the tow van nor the trailer will have front doors.
  15. Thanks The handrails are solid styrene rods and the mounts are tubing that I sanded down. I drilled holes in the bed edge and slid the rod inside.
  16. Beautiful work! Perfect paint and great interior. Dave
  17. I did a bit of bodywork and put on the suspension and wheels (they need a bit more adjusting). Working on the interior of the camper now-no pics yet.
  18. Beautiful work! That's one big pickup. I love that gun in the back.
  19. Nice color combo! I will put this Stude on my list to get.
  20. Here you go. The next pics will be in the Under Glass section.
  21. Looking great! I love that interior. My brothers first car was a '67 Camaro SS. I think he paid $1200 back in '72. I wish he still had it!
  22. I primed the body and puttied and its ready for another coat of primer, I also installed the engine. I decided to use the baby moons for the wheels (unless I find something better). Thanks for looking. Dave
