  1. Cool build! I never paid this truck much attention in the movie. I didn’t realize that they blew up a model, but it is pretty obvious in the pictures posted. The other interesting thing is that I noticed in these pictures of the movie truck is that it is actually an IH 4070B Transtar II, with 4070A style headlights. I can’t help but wonder if it was a rebuild of the Gone in 60 seconds truck. Looks good so far! The Detroit looks good in yellow.
  2. Very interesting project. Nice work!
  3. Excellent work! Pepsi was definitely the better choice! Looks great!!
  4. And these are top of the line too!!!
  5. Unibody wasn’t the best choice of terms, but it is integral sleeper Road Boss 2. I’m pretty sure that it is the same cab.
  6. I agree. The hardest part, I think would be making the windshield smaller. Didn’t the unibody Road Boss use the same cab too?
  7. Thanks! I ordered mine! I have been wanting one of these for years!!

  11. I would really like to be able to pull off a paint scheme like this! Excellent work Ken!
  12. Exactly what I was thinking!! Looks great! The paint job really makes it an eye catcher!!

  17. Looks awesome Jim! Excellent work!
  18. There were a few different mounting designs. I ran a set on my 66 Satellite. They only had two u-bolts, one in front of the axle and one behind, and they were not nearly long enough for the snubber to reach the front eye on the leaf spring.
  19. This is a great project!! I like mobile home toters! They have always been popular around here! I like that you have opened the doors. Don’t forget that the upper part of the Transtar molding is on the door itself. Just the lower strip of chrome stays on the cab.
