  1. I love the seat and the upside down steering wheel. You did great!
  2. Big Al, was the name of the car. A buddy of mine saw it once, in SoCal. Said it was unbelievably;y loud!
  3. I did not want to take over Lunajammer's Build thread, but I find these tractors endlessly interesting. I wanted to share some pics. Links taken from the Wiki Page/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doodlebug_tractor America: Sweden: The Rest of the world: Have Fnu!
  4. Great Restoration! Like New. If you like restoring things, Check out this guy at the link. Not only does he restore vintage tools, but he shows what products he uses, explains their use, and shows how they work. Very Clear directions on what he does, and why he works the way he does. Goes by the handle "357 Magdad". He is one of a number of folks who do the same things on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/@357magdad/videos
  5. That second one down. Thanks, Ace. I've got a birthday coming up. I may spring for it.
  6. Sign Me Up! Always room for another Long Roof!
  7. Be Great if there was a Four Door Body in resin. That car would make a Primo Cop Car.
  8. Not the TRX Tires! Why, Oh Why do they keep using those wretched things on Muscle Car kits? Shame on you, Revell.
  9. VCG got Bollide Models
  10. Great Build, Bob! I've seen the real ones fly at Kadena AB in Okinawa, Japan. They were like no other plane I've watched.
  11. It does indeed have 'fine lines'. Put me down for a Few. I have one of the 2004 boxings, but it is missing half the instruction sheet, and some parts. Retro Deluxe Decals, Pad Printed Tires, and maybe (maybe) some original parts returned to the kit via re-opening all the gates! What is not to like?
  12. If I remember correctly, there are two kinds of mirrors in the kit.
  13. Thanks, Hakan, Tim, Mark, Jesse, Ace & Lee. You have given me much to digest.
  14. Now that is just Awesome!!! Thanks for telling us, and Thanks for doing it! That kit is going to be a Tow Vehicle for a lot of Saturday Night race rigs!
  15. Looking forward to seeing what wheels it has. Odds are, only one set.
  16. I wonder what happened to LFG? I know he stopped building for a while, but came back. I hope he is okay.
  17. Yeah, it is very hard to find one in gook, stock condition. So many have been 'Customed' (poorly in most cases) that the good ones are rare.
  18. There was a book about those Sears Houses. I wanted it, but never got it. I should track it back down again.
  19. Which kit has the best "Cammer: for street use. I know that the motor got kitted a few times, and that the Ohio George '33 Willis has a blown version, but I'd like one for a street car. I know Tim Boyd did a photo comparison in Scale Auto a few years ago, but I no longer have the back issues to dig thru to find int. Any body have a copy of that they could scan here? Other wise, where would I get a decent copy of the engine. I do not mind having to purchase a couple kits if I need to to kit bash a good engine. Thanks, Alan
  20. Mike, is this what you want? https://www.ebay.com/itm/265908513804?hash=item3de961ec0c:g:UwsAAOSweIRiYJ-H He has several styles of headers. I've bought a lot of parts from him in the last few years, but no resin. He was fas and fair. I'd order from him again.
  21. Man, they have disappeared around here! And when you do find them, they are worn out annd expensive.
  22. Neat Build, of a seldom seen kit.
