MPC did a couple Dune Buggies and a racing car in 1/20. It is not as odd as it sounds. However, I think One Man, (George Toteff) was the brains behind both the 1960's MPC and Later 1990's Lindberg 1/20 scale kits. IIRC, he was a huge fan of that scale. Nichimo in Japan even did a 1/20 Aero Subaru Light Plane. https://modelingmadness.com/review/civil/poifa200preview.htm

NNL East New Truck Kit News? Please post updates here....
stavanzer replied to tim boyd's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
More Spokes in the Front & Rear Wheels for a start. RPM Models sells a 1/72 Mack Bulldog that might help convert the big one. https://www.1001hobbies.com/172-scale-military-models/29792-rpm-rpm72400-mack-ac-bulldog-truck-type-ehc1--5903217009260.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwi46iBhDyARIsAE3nVrbxFSzD6sW6AAcb3e1Dkfklbr5sazjyyNqwwxDkteDeTej6FpYP_MoaAo6aEALw_wcB -

Beautiful Job! I'd sure put one on my desk. -
Tom, Here is what the instruction sheet shows. There are a few extra parts on the chrome tree. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/modified-asphalt--d/amt-69-ford-faclon-/?view=roll

Does anybody have a copy of the Instruction Sheet for the '63 Pickup? I'd really like to see more about the Camper, the 2 custom front ends, and the Supercharged Engine. I suspect that some of the parts might be carry-overs from the '62's but I don't know. I was born in 1963, so a '63 Ford Pickup will be on my list of kits I want to build.

Well, Just got the call. My employer just laid me off. I had been working half-days but now it has gotten so slow, that they just dropped me totally. Time to increase my job search efforts. Bleh!

Any bets that the Camaro might surface this weekend? It would be nice to hear some news about it, or see a prototype model.

Restoring a Thayer & Chandler vintage airbrush
stavanzer replied to ismaelg's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Great Restoration! Like New. If you like restoring things, Check out this guy at the link. Not only does he restore vintage tools, but he shows what products he uses, explains their use, and shows how they work. Very Clear directions on what he does, and why he works the way he does. Goes by the handle "357 Magdad". He is one of a number of folks who do the same things on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/@357magdad/videos
