  1. Beautiful Build. The colour is period perfect. The Bodywork is outstanding. I really like this.
  2. See Round2, this is why we want this kit back! It builds beautifully, and is a sharply detailed kit. Great Build!
  3. Great Build. It is so nice to see the nearly 80 year old kits built so well.
  4. Back from the days when a good modeler had to be a Woodworker. Great Job, on a long forgotten kit.
  5. Thanks for posting this David. It is great to see it again.
  6. Great Build! The Rain Spots actually improve the photo, IMHO. The Atmosphere and setting really show off the car well. +1 on changing the wheels / tires, a Huge improvement.
  7. They are called "Strandbeests" Many videos on Youtube. And here is Mythbuster's Adam Savage playing with one. Might even be the kit you have.
  8. I've always liked the Israeli Armor. Like you, I am intrigued by the way they cobbled together old or worn out equipment in order to get usable, and in some cases better than original weapons. Really neat stuff.
  9. So... Does this mean the the ship is always the 'centaur' of attention? Not something Pirates would want, I suspect.......
  10. I've not been able to watch the show. Are the FW-190's in the show wearing the Red,White & Bleu tails you depict in your model? Cool Build! There are never enough FW-190s!
  11. Now, that would make sense, Craig. And the AMT '26 Roadster is out there in fairly large numbers. Most Recently in the horrible "Mod Rod" version where exactly the wrong parts were re-tooled. But, the kit is a goldmine of period parts, and has a truly Awesome Decal Sheet, especially if you are into T.R.O.G. Builds, Beach Racers or Rat Rods. This would be one way to possibly get the all Chromed Flathead engine from the Woody into the Roadster with out too much work.
  12. Jim, not sure how well it would kitbash. I think there would be serious fit issues with the body and fender Frame Units. I'd get out parts and try, but, my Model A kits have all been sold off.
  13. The Oil Spill does not affect the Port of L.A. Rail Gridlock and Lack of Truck Drivers does.
  14. I, too, am sorry for your loss. Gone much too soon.
  15. Going to be interesting to see exactly what parts are in the PP032/24 Emergency Flasher Pack, and there is Slusher's Monte Carlo Super Stocker. Does it share the same 'Up and Over' exhaust with the recent GTO Stocker?
  16. A quik note about my Gripe. I am a Dispatcher for Trucking and Oilfield Work, I've been working 12's and Graveyards since 1999. I had a 9 year break from nights from 2011-2020, but that is it. I worked rotating 6days on 3days off for several years as well. So, none of this is new to me. But, I just turned 58, and despite this being a life I am familiar with, I am finding it hard to get "Back in the Groove" for this job. Good Job, Good People to work for, and I am grateful beyond words to be working here. But, the transition is tough. I'll get there though. And, for Tony, yes they still make narcotics that will "Jolt" you awake for one time use. But, I cannot use them, as they are meant as a One Shot Deal, and I work 4 nights a week. Thanks, Guys, Alan
  17. IIRC, the blower case, and both ends are still in the kit, but nothing else. You are so right about the rims, though!
  18. Neat Build! Not something I would ever try, but you really made a striking Model. I do like it!
  19. Wow! Simply Awesome Build. You nailed the period Colour on the car. It looks real.
  20. Looks Like a Beauty to me! Great Colour!
  21. Migraines! That is my bummer for the day. I'm having Caffeine withdrawal as I cut back on my Mt Dew consumption. I work 12 hr, graveyard shifts, 8pm to 8a, and the Mt Dew keep me going. But, I can't afford to keep drinking so many. I'm gaining weight. So, I've cut back on the Soda, but Caffeine Withdrawal gives me headaches. It will pass in a week or two, as I adapt, but it makes for a lousy weekend. But, I have a job!
  22. So, any guesses on which Mod Stock kit will come out in 2022? My money is on the Buick or the '64 Ford, although the Olds could be out too. I really like what Round2 has done with these kits, and the '65 Ford was a Goldmine of extra parts. Just open up all the sprues on any other kit. The Buick still has a cool Weber Carb option hiding in the kit, and who knows what might still be in the others.
  23. Ah, Chris DID do a Review of this kit. Good to See.
  24. This Chevette. Is it close to the Bear Bait Kit? I'm guessing it is a progenitor of it. It would be a great re-issue with the Tent and other Extras.
  25. Re: the '37 Chevy. *Pre-Orders bill in advance and orders with pre-ordered items will be held until all items can ship. Expected arrival dates are estimates and subject to change. If you are in a hurry for currently available items, please order future items separately. The AMT 1937 Chevy Coupe from more modern era tooling is a modeler's favorite. We have confirmed with AMT that all the original parts are in the kit, so we actually have a (4 'n1). Here's the deal, the instructions on this one only provide building steps for the Bonneville Racer version. But, a note in the box references the AMT-Round2 websIte and provides a link to download instructions for building the other versions.
