Oddly,Mark, WWII Sherman tanks with Air Cooled Radial engines were rated in GPM. On paved road the Sherman gets about 4 Gallons Per Mile. Offroad it can triple.

The Pics that Daddyfink posted showed the wire bundle. Sadly, those pics are now gone, the links are dead. But they did show a small bundle of yellow wire. I cannot wait for the first kit review. There are a few of these "in the wild" now, so pics should be showing up any day now. I look forward to Tim Boyd's review, knowing how thorough it will be. This kit just looks better. Has anybody seen the photo of Jim Keeler with his new box of these kits? It is on facebook. He looks so proud of his work! I hope somebody could post it and share it here.

So, It has both Grilles, both kinds of taillights, and two wheel options. Only the one hood, but plenty of build versions otherwise, and the small block can be swapped in. Great Kit!

Re: Tailgaters. In the 1990's I was in the MVCC (Military Vehicle Collector Club), with a gentleman who owned a street legal British, Armoured Car. A 1950's Vintage Alvis Saracen. It had tiny, almost invisible turn signal lamps, and was bulky and hard to drive. Strangely though, even in L.A. traffic, he never had problems changing lanes. Notice how far out the wheel hubs protrude. Right about eye level on a Honda Accord or Civic, He'd start to drift right to change lanes, and there was always a hole formed. I'd like to drive this and be tailgated. By the way, it would do 65mph on the freeway. Slow, but adequate.

Roger, those Meng F-350s are a relatively low volume kit from a very pricey manufacturer. They were not really out for long, and thus scarce. I'd count $165.00 to be a great price for that kit.

Keyser, and Mark B. Thanks for teaching some new things about my favorite Buick Kit! At least now I know how the Mod Stock kit wound up with Promo Wheels. I've been saving that Intake for a Nailhead Hotrod in a Model A or Deuce kit.

The existance of that kit, is why I suggested other FOMOCO racers, in order to reach more customers. Put Me down for the '64 Mod Stock. The more I think about it, the better I like that combo.

I worked on them for a year. Worst cars to work on, that I have ever touched. Truly misreable cars, with no room, and a company wide case of "Hide the Oil Filter!". No two Bemews (Thanks Ace!) seem to have the Filter in the same place, even when they share an engine. You could not pay me enough to own one.
