Well, The '63 Nova Wagon, the '68 Coronet Twins, the '64 Chevy Malibu SS were all just Wishlist Items at some point too. The wagon especially seemed to be a kit that few were visibly clamoring for. Yet, it seems to be a sales Success with 3 hits off the tool so far. I think the '74 Charger has at least as good a chance as the Nova Wagon. Besides, MOPAR Fans are Just That. Fans! So there is some built in demand already. We'll just have to wait and see.

Oh Yes! I agree on this. Those Rallye GT Tires are the worst, and they wound up in so many AMT kits...... I do not miss them.

Great Build! We forget now just how shiny cars really were 70-80 years ago. They were shiny of course, but nothing like the miles deep gloss we see to day. Your Factory stock paint job looks perfect! I like that shade of Blue too. Nice Detail on the interior. Good Show.

Man, the guys who manned the real thing were Crazy. I'd not have gotten in that thing for Convoy Escort. Having driven an M37's cousin (the M43 Ambulance) I shudder to think of what it was like to drive that thing. You model really captures the essence of these little rigs.

Took the Rottweiler to the Vet to get sedatives for July Fourth. They were badly overbooked, so we had to wait in the Car with the A/C running. I found out that my 105 lb. dog pants so hard that she shakes the car! When she would pause to swallow, the car would go still. When she panted again, the car would bounce. A gentle bounce, but she rocks the car, nonetheless. Truly weird....

Those RR Armoured Cars were not 'cut down'. They were purpose built, and a couple still exist. Roden Models sells both WW1 and WW2 versions, in 1/35 scale. Beautiful kits, but lots of very small parts. The Belgian Minerva Company, and Lanchester Motor in GB made both high End Cars and and Armoured Cars in WW! too. The Choice of the Roller, Minerva and Lanchester was because they were Large, Heavy Cars with strong engines that could carry the weight of an Armoured Body.

Here is a Rare Jeepster. 1971 Hurst Jeepster. Had only a 225 CU V-6.

It is my firm belief that the 1972 Facelift of the Jeepster helped to kill it off. Sales were not great in 1971, but the squared off nose destroyed the Jeep "Look" and made it indistinguishable from the Bronco, and Blazer of the same year. The "Bad Idea Fairy" seemed to spend most of her time in the Corporate Business Office and Design Studios at AMC in the 1970s. Jeep was the Golden Goose and AMC flirted with various ways of trying to kill it off over the years too. It makes me Sad because the CJ-5/CJ-7, Javelin and AMX are some of my favorite cars.
