  9. This thread... For as many Trillions of bucks we have collectively wasted as a country on Graft and Waste, we could not find the millions to save this example of U.S. Engineering at it's Peak? Sad, Sad, Sad!
  10. Fun Build! I wish I had a chance to pick up a few of those $8.49 Landy's!
  11. I have that kit. I've started the engine, but I have not gotten any further. Very Delicate tooling, that's for sure.

  13. Three stories about Yogo" 1. A friend had one. It must have been a "Wednesday Car" because it ran well, was a reliable commuter car, and he owned for ten years, until it was totaled. He loved the car, but was very aware that his was the exception to the rule. 2. A Reviewer in one of the Main Auto Mags of the time, said that the Yugo Shifted with all the smoothness of a Baseball Bat in a Barrel full of Coconuts. 3. Probably not real, but I heard a story that a Dealer near Seattle, was stuck with 10 or 12 cars when Yugo collapsed. They filled the gas tanks, Bondo'ed the filler doors shut, painted them cheaply, and then advertised them as "Disposable Cars" and sold them off cheap.
  14. Man, That Rocks. That is the only 'Strutter in 1/28 scale anybody will ever see. You've hit a Homerun with that build!

  23. After reading to comments, everyone else has said it better than I can. Just Stunning Work!
  24. My Little Camry has been well cared for. I am the Third Owner. My Grandmother bought it new in 1987. She gave it to my mom in 2015. My mom gave it to me last year. It is indeed a creampuff! The CV joints are just starting to make that loose bearing rattle, but only on tight turns. So, I will probably take Ace's advice and not worry about them just yet. 30 years ago, I replaced Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Mazda Axles all the time. But, I no longer have access to either a shop or a hoist, and I'm not going to try doing the job on my back in a driveway. I may to try to price some axles though. I may not be able to get them once the car is 40 years old. Thanks to all who gave useful advice. I've read and noted all of it.
