Well, there are there seem to be a few folks here who are bothered by it, but 99% of the buyers neither know, nor care about the proportion issues. I for one, cannot see what you are talking about. I just wish Revell would tool up the older, Vertical style grille for it.

No Way is it this kit. A a second hit off the New Tool 1985 Blazer, I'd guess.

That was my guess, as well. Be great to see exactly what is in the box. Here is the '85 JImmy and it's grill.

Revell 1968-69 Charger kits , hemi emblem ???
stavanzer replied to gtx6970's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Here are the Instructions and the Decals. I see no Hemi Emblem. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/revell-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/dodge/revell-68-dodge-cha/?view=roll#1 -
That's the First Thing I saw too. So the '85 Blazer morphs into an '85 Jimmy. I wonder what accessories the Jimmy will have? The '73 Mustang, is another easy lay-up choice.

The '34 Wire Rims are very small compared to the '29 Rims.

Just Awesome! What a Roadster. -
Revell, makes a '30-'31 Model A Woody that has Stock Wire Wheels, but they are the wrong year, and look a bit different than the '29 Wheels. AMT/Round2 has the evergreen'29 Roadster, that has Stock Wires. The MPC/Round2 '29 Woodie/Roadster Pickup has a set of Stock Wires also, but they don't look as good as the Revell or AMT wheels in my opinion. Those are the easiest to find options I can think of right now. Others may know more or have better ideas than I do. Hope this Helps. Alan

Thank You, James for correcting my memory. I thought there had been a Stock kit. I was wrong. I'm glad your memory is better than mine. -
HPI Guy, 1982 DeLorean DMC-12 1/24 Scale Model Kit Aoshima

Adam is correct. No, BTTF, no DeLorean. It would not have even been kitted, I'd wager. But now there are at least 7 or 8 versions of the kit. The Older ones from the 1990's, and these new ones. I get 8 versions this way: 1. Old Stock 2. Old BTTF #1. 3. Old BTTF #2 4. Old BTTF #3 5-8 are the same Four versions of the new tooling. I will admit, my math be be incorrect. -

May I suggest Pearl Grey, with Red Upholstery and Trim? There were a lot of grey racing cars, and road cars back then. I think the Grey/Red looks understated yet classy. -
The Dark Blue thing, behind the radiator, directly under the Bright Red bracket?

Our Rottweiler normally barks at the Drivers who drop stuff off at our doorstep. But, not always. And you are correct, Nobody knocks anymore! As you said, it's just "drop off and go". What a way to run a Railroad.... -
The Instructions. Not as bad as I remembered, but not great either. the Chassis and Engine Bay are the worst bits. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/chrysler/amt-2005-chrysler-3/?view=roll#1

I just hope Round2 Has fixed to totally Horrible Instructions. They were First Gen CAD drawings and had confusing forests of straight lines leading to the undersides of wheelwells and other errors. They were just hard to follow.

I have one of these started. Seeing your great build, makes me want to finish mine. It is all painted, it just needs to have final assembly done. Really Great work on yours! Good Show. -
Man, Gerry, your skills are really making a Silk Purse out of this kit. Awesome work so far.

I use a very pale gray on mine. If you look at an Air Filter from even a few feet away, most of them look grey not white.
