  1. Revell seems to move very slowly these days. But, if they tooled parts for the '73 car, you will eventually see the kit. But, don't hold your breath waiting. They don't waste tooling dollars, but sometimes it looks like they wait a very long time between versions of a kit.
  2. Oh, we get Bark Boxes, and Kong Brand toys. Just just chews those things to bits more slowly. LOL. I feel your Pain, John about losing a dog. Hard on both you and the dog. They bond with "their" people, and the separation confuses them.
  3. What irked me? Rottweilers. Specifically My Rottie, Yarbo. She is a even tempered, affectionate dog most of the time, but at 26 months old, is still a puppy in 'Rotte years'. This morning I find her chewing on the Blink Camera for my front door. Not even sure how she found it. Over the last two years I have taken things from here mouth that I would not have believed any dog would try to eat. The List is Long: Pine cones, Paper towels, plastic any thing, steel bolts, 2"x4" chunks, even small rocks. She will literally try to eat (or at least chew on) anything. It is a constant battle with her. My wife says owning a Rotteweiler is a Lifestyle Choice, not owning a pet! Me: I'm convinced, that without humans to pull things from their mouths, no Rottweiler would live long enough to breed! The entire species would die out in one generation.... But, this is the most loving animal I've owned in 30 years. She is really my dog, and she shows it every day. She waits for me when I leave, and sleeps at my feet when I'm on the computer. Truly a great dog.
  4. You as well, Dave! Merry Christmas.
  5. Re: Monogram Engines. I recall reading many years ago, that a Monogram Executive stated that many of the older 1/24 scale Muscle Cars, had the engines increased in size approx 10% in order to "look Better" in the kit. Not sure how true this is, but it would explain some of the readily observable size differences in engine parts, between kits. It may be more than just 1/25 vs 1/24 in some cases.
  6. That is the Revell Kit. It is superb!
  7. Fine Jeep! I like the Blue. The personal touches make it better. Good Show.
  8. Man, Hobby Lobby has this kit, and starting tomorrow, all kits should be 40% off. I'm getting tempted..... Dang It Carl, would did you have to start talking about this kit?
  9. Had my 30th Wedding anniversary today. We sat and watched movies, and talked about the last 30 years. It was quiet, just the 2 of us.
  10. Don't worry , Carl. Somebody on the 'Bay will be parting out these kits, and you'll be able to get the bike by itself. But, it would probably be cheaper to just buy the kit and trade the Model A, and keep the bike in the long run.
  11. Thanks! I had not known that. So, all it has ever been is the "Bumble's Bee" drag machine, and a Stock build? That helps, my planning the build.
  12. One of the Best Builds of the '34, I have seen. The super smooth paint really helps. Good Show.
  13. Just coming back around to this kit. Would any body have set of instructions for the Original or"Countdown Version" from 1977 that show how the 'custom' body parts are used? I can make some guesses, but I'd like to see what the older directions show. Thanks. Alan
  14. Great Build! It looks real. I like the Colour you chose. Were the wheels you used, on the Chrome Tree or Bare Plastic? Good Show.
  15. That has to be one of the best builds of that Kit, I've ever seen.
  16. I just watched the Li'l School Bus video. I'll watch this one next. It was great to hear your voice, and see your builds. And, of course I subscribed.
  17. I believe you are correct about the stock wheels. Only the woody had them. And the '31 wheels are different than the '29, so you really should not use the '31 wheels on the '29 pickup. (although they will fit, on the model) I've seen the '31 wheels used on a sedan build. https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/builds/rm/build_rm_2169.shtml
  18. I can only think of Two Hits on this tool, Recently. This one and the Racer's Wedge version. Is there a Third one, I've missed?
  19. I read in one of the Car Magazine back in the day (Car& Track, Road & Driver, one of those) that one of the real life reasons for the downfall of the Cheetah, was that the exhaust routing made the drivers compartment so hot that it would burn drivers after only a short time. Also the car was cramped and not very ergonomic. It just was never a very 'polished' car and suffered because it was never more thana working prototype, and too crude to function reliably.
  20. Man, Round2 is getting a whole lot of use out that tool! Nevertheless, I'll think hard about getting one in that boxing.
  21. I can wait until the second run hits the U.S. Not paying that much to be "First-on-the-Block".
  22. I've done this, as well. Found set of Tractor Wheels that worked for a build I was doing.
  23. Sharp Looking, Ford, Chuck! Your Builds always look so good. Good Show.
