  1. Great Save on a great car! The 2 shades of Blue you chose are an excellent choice.
  2. Anybody up for a High Roller S-10, or a Lowrider Chevy Luv? I'd think a Lowrider Luv, might actually be pretty Kool. Hard to do with the parts in the kit, but Kool.
  3. Calnaga Castings does a great version as well. https://calnaga.com/blower-scoop-crower-8-port-injector
  4. I agree with your thoughts, exactly, Noel. It will be a few more years, but I see that already happening with a few resin casters. More and more will do so in the future.
  5. Here are the instructions. The engine is a Display Only piece, I think. I don't see any way to put it in the car. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/hawk/hawk-w163-mercedes-/?view=roll#1
  6. Greg, you are correct! The two Pots glue directly to the manifold.
  7. So, a Day after my last post, it's 56 this morning with a high of 77, predicted. What a change!
  8. I'm sorry. The Convertible does not have the Dodge Fever decals. Wish I could help.
  9. From the recent Round2 Kits, or from the original. I have the convertible from Round2. LMK
  10. Awesome! That kit can still be made to shine, 60 years later, by someone who takes the time and effort to do it Right. Which you did, in Spades.
  11. Rod Serling of Twilight Zone fame built Model Airplanes. He used to patronize most of the well known hobby shops in L.A. I have an acquaintance who has seen and held some of Serling's builds.
  12. There are decals on the '78 Dodge sheet for the minibike. I do think they are Rupp.
  13. I have no clue what it is, but give it a bath and some gentle cleaning, and affix that left front wheels, and you got one heck of a "Survivor" display piece!
  14. In Bakersfield it was 94, yesterday at 4pm. Really Hot. Summer started too early this year. Happily a cooling trend starts today, so only 86 is forecast.
  15. I've got a Half-Finished Monogram '55 Ford Pickup that I was converting into a "Flatbed Ford", but It has never been completed. I did not know about this one, when I started my build about 10 years ago.
  16. That's a heck of a lot of beef for one 4 Cyl. Jeep to pull.
  17. Well, the Revell kits are simple and maybe fun for a Palate Cleanser. I might be ready to try the surgery on a Hook/Ford Mash-up, just for the fun of it. And the Wrecker and Cab back walls are separate parts, on the Hook/ 77 GMC Wrecker kit. Cab is #2, Wrecker rear bulkhead is #33.. Looking at the instructions, it seems clear that both kits were tooled with much the same philosophy, as far as detail and parts count. Not Brothers, but certainly Cousins. https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/4/3/6/191436-61-instructions.pdf
  18. There is a Snap-Fit Wrecker. Last seen as the "77 GMC Wrecker" or "Captain Hook Wrecker" it was released about the same time.
  19. No Clearance Kits, in Bakersfield CA, as of last Friday.
  20. Saw my Grandson in his Second High School Play. (one in the Fall, one in the Spring) He was outstanding! He's only a Freshman this year, but the Drama Teacher really likes his work ethic and Attitude. I hope he continues to do well. He was Great!
  21. I'll second the Fireball Wheels and 4x4 Tires. Really Excellent service from Joseph!
  22. Thanks, Al I got the Mustang today at H/L, 40% off. Looks like a nice kit. I'll get the paint next month.
