  1. The first Truck, got the AMT White Road Boss Tractor in 1977-78. Orange cab and sleeper, black chassis, green engine. I still have the sleeper in my stash. It got painted, but never built. The rest of it has disappeared.
  2. Well, here are the directions. After Looking at them, it looks like Brian is correct. Spoiler looks to be just flat plastic, The parachute could come off of any Funny car. Good luck making/finding the parts. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/mpc-instructions/straightline-competition/mpc-nitro-bird-pont/?view=roll#1
  3. David, that's great lick that you weren't hurt any worse. Take it real easy for the next couple days. I'm very glad you're okay now.
  4. Those wheels look superb! This whole car will be a Masterpiece when done.
  5. Model Round up, sells the PPP Wheels. I've used a couple sets of them, and been very pleased with them. PPP rims are all sized correctly for your Merc. So, no worries there.
  6. Revell, was trying to make a Quik Buk by using an already tooled kit. And that is completely Fair. Modify an existing tool, and make more money? Great! The intended market for this kit, will not know or care about the flat roof/window niggles that bother some on the internet. Like Round2 Coca Cola kits, the Fringe, is not who this kit is for. Will we buy them? Of Course! I need a new Camaro, and this is a good one. The lack of chrome does not worry me, and I can make a blown Street Warrior with this kit, with just whats in the box. I suspect most of these that actually get built, will be the box art car.
  7. Excellent! The Green suits it well. Good Show.
  8. I really like the Landy. The Blue looks really factory on this kit. Great Work. Good Show.
  9. Very Sharp looking Tow Truck. It's just right. Good Show.
  10. Great work! The Tu-Tone Colours look spot-on. Good Show.
  11. Man, what a Great Build! Your colour choice and detail work are just Awesome. It looks like it could have been in a Dealer Catalogue. What a Sharp, Clean build. Good Show.
  12. Great Job! That Ford Motor really completes the Look! Good Show.
  13. Great Looking Truck. I have the '78 kit and a Warlock, and plan to build something like what you have done. I only hope I can do it as well as you have. Good Show.
  14. Awesome Build. An Open Top Taxi. Looks very 3rd World. Your Weathering and Detail are Top Notch. Good Show.
  15. Wow! That is great work, on Big Al. You've done great work, on a car that seldom gets built. Good Show
  16. Darn. I was looking forward to seeing that...
  17. Hart's Parts does the Dodge grilles in Resin. https://hartspartsresin.com/product/mpc-72-73-dodge-pu-covnersion/

  19. Wow! What a great Street Rod! Everything is well thought out, and the finish is smooth, and well detailed. It looks like something you would see at a "Cars & Coffee" here in Cali. Good Show.
  20. You got the 'look' right the first time. Cross-kitting the '72 & '76 worked like a charm. That is an excellent replica. Good Show.
  21. That looks like a real "California Cruiser". Great work!
  22. Yes it is. And that was the Discount Grocery store.
  23. In Central California today it was 70 Degrees, clear as a bell, bright blue skies. I wore a T-shirt and shorts all day. It last snowed here in 1999.
  24. Bought an 18 pack of eggs this morning for 13.56! Yep, almost 14 dollars! the Dozen was 7.85.
