  1. Gary Brooks. Round2 has you covered on the TJ Hooker/ Sheriff Roscoe Monaco kit. 5/6 years ago we got it in CHP Markings. No, ChiPs Tie-In , but we did get fresh CHP Decals and a new front CHP Spec Push Bar & Light Bar. New Wheels too. The kit was Freshened up quite a bit https://www.round2corp.com/download/mpc922/
  2. I hope the Waverider Grill makes it into the kit as an option. I don't think it will, but I can hope......
  3. Great Job on bringing this back from the "Shelf 'O' Doom" I like the mint green finish. Good Show.
  4. Great Build. The Underbody Details and Hubcaps are noteworthy The Blue looks good , too. Good Show.
  5. Cool M37 Variant. Great job on the build, even if you did struggle some. Good Show.
  6. Your Frame and Fenders are mismatched. The axle is way too far backwards in the Fender unit. Center the axle in the fenders, and I think your problems will go away. I've built the kit, but it was back in the '80s, so I can't tell you exactly what the issue is. Here's a link to the instructions. https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/6/8/4/192684-23-instructions.pdf Step 8 shows how the alignment should go. Are the notches and pins fitting correctly. Hope this helps.
  7. Ask at Body Shops. They usually have old taillights sitting around.
  8. You are most welcome, Donny.
  9. Looks Awesome so far! Making me want that new Round2 Mustang II Helldrivers kit. I like the Pinto Wheels trick. I'd have never considered it, until you showed it. Thanks!
  10. Just jump in, Mate. Too much thinking and it will just gum things up. You say you've done Model Railroading, so While this may be the first car kit, this isn't your first Rodeo. By all means, brush paint the small parts. You may have to use a gloss coat over many of your paints, if they are railroad colours. Lastly. You will most likely make mistakes. We all do. No Shame in that. Just fall back and try again. You will do great!
  11. All the Big Lots here in California are closed, but no sign of Ollies.
  12. Donny. Not sure what the Discount Store/Low Price landscape is in Australia, but while it is great to have quality tools, I've seen guys build masterpieces with Old Nail Clippers, and Emory Boards. I'm saying start small, and add tools as you determine the need for them. You can make a great start with the Tamiya Basic Tool kit. https://www.tamiyausa.com/shop/tools/basic-tool-set/ Sprue Nippers, Knife and a simple File. The tools will be great quailty, and I expect it would be easier to buy them at a hobby shop there, than here in the U.S. Add some fine files and sanding films, and you have a good basic set to start from, for model building. Good Luck, and Have Fun! I am glad you are here! Alan
  13. There are no current 1/32 truck kits in the discount pipeline. Sure Wish I could lay my hands on a Bainbridge and a John Paul Jones destroyer. My Dad was a Destroyer Crewman.
  14. Just Awesome Work, Dennis!
  15. And this time, I'll buy the grills I missed last time around! I really want the Gladiator Grill.
  16. The DeSoto is real wide through the Valve Covers. I'd think you may have Clarence issues at the inner fenders. But, it was tooled about the same time & with the a similar philosophy as the Trophy Kits, so I expect it will come close to fitting. I've never tried it, although I have '40 Fords & '53 Pickups in abundance. Let us know how it works out.
  17. Great Build, of a rare Ford! The pic with all 3 cars is great. Good Show.
  18. I like the Father & son figures. Where did you find them?
  19. You are correct, James. The Camper Shell, Roof Lights and Push Bar, are unique to this boxing. Absolutely awesome to have them back. I'll just need to hit up Fireball Models for better wheels & tires, as the kit ones are poor.....
  20. I wonder if there is a set to fit an '87 Camry.....?
