  1. Yep. IPMS. The Killjoys of Model Building.
  2. I know. Not trying accuse anybody.
  3. Dave & Johnny. Job Uncertainties have kept me from having the money to fix it. I do have a 8'x10' indoor/outdoor rug out there right now. It's better than nothing. Thanks for asking.
  4. I know several Model Kit "Grifters". "Buy Low & Sell High" is their motto. They feel no shame and will rip off anybody. They will outright lie about Condition, Rarity, or Value, without turning a hair. Sounds like this Joker is one of those kind.
  5. Nothing....
  6. The Atlantis B29 is often on the shelf at Hooby Looby.
  7. Great Diorama! Your Mud Spatter is very well done, and the crushed cars look good too. Good Show.
  8. The last stick shift I had was an '88 Suzuki Samurai in the early 1990's. I loved it. But, it was a 5 speed on the floor. I learned to drive in 1981 on a '61 Chevy Pickup with a Three on the Tree.
  9. Thanks, Kyle. I'm talking about my 1-1 patio, not a model....
  10. A conclusion that most everybody reached about two weeks after it happened. But, nice to have the Coast Guard make it official. Rush was a Headstrong Prima-Donna. This is what happens when the "My Way-or-the Highway" types get 'too big for their britches' to let my Southern half do the talking. He was an affable, smart Sociopath, who lived up to the Peter Principal.
  11. Monty, try Ron Coon Resins. He carries some. Look at his wheel listings. I know I have dozens of them, collected over the years. And here is an eBay listing for some. They are high priced but he is trustworthy to deal with. Remember, AMT & MPC wheels interchange (mostly) but Monogram are 1/24 so a bit bigger. https://www.ebay.com/itm/166374467321?itmmeta=01K1ZTQBKXJJ2MTQV39V9P62AE&hash=item26bcb0e6f9:g:-wQAAOSwRZJlJxr2
  12. Great news, Eric! I'd rather have the kit 'Right' than 'Right now'. Keep to your plans.
  13. And a One-Ton with Heavy Duty Wheels for the Light Commercial Guys, please?
  14. According to Scalemates-1961 was the original tooling date. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/lindberg-603-69-32-pick-up-rod--194971
  15. I'd look for this kit. Or any of it's older version. This one has lots of optional suspension parts and radiator grilles. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-85-2064-30-ford-woody-street-rod-2-n-1--158724
  16. Tom Lerher passed too. Been a bunch lately.
  17. You know... For the work needed for a swap, it might be just as easy to to do a complete rebuild of the existing engine. You can probably "Massage" it a bit to get some extra ponies, and you'd have a very nice little truck. Leaving it stock will make it easier to sell at some future date, if it comes to that.
  18. Carl. I will say a prayer for you. I know how many issues you have been facing. You keep doing your best. Let me know what you like to read. I can send you something. Take Care, my Friend!
  19. Tonight's Dinner. Sharp Cheddar Cheese & Ritz Crackers. Vienna Sausage. Cactus Cooler Orange/Pineapple Soda.
  20. I've driven a B2000 pickup back in the day. I really liked it. It was a Shop Truck but I used it to deliver parts a couple of times. It took the Grapevine (Hwy 99/I5-5) to Los Angeles with ease. Sounds like fun project!
  21. Looks Better Than It Should. You have the 'touch' to turn these Pig's Ears into Silk Purses.
